Mommy Makeover First Few Days Postop

Forgot to add a picture to my update. I am still quite a bit swollen. I've been able to get a few showers since my surgery. I am doing most of my daily activities on my own. Prolonged standing and stiffness is my main setback. I cannot say enough about my scars. Right now everything seems to be healing as it should. I am going to continue with the scar regimen as prescribed by my doc. #nguyening

I am really doing great. I am now taking only flexiril a few times a day. I drove for the first time yesterday and it was uneventful. My TT scar looks amazing as do the anchor scars on my breast. I am still very swollen but not in any pain. I have very limited mobility, not from pain but tightness.

Because I had a “drainless” procedure I haven’t had any drainage. I haven’t had to use one bandage or gauze. That is crazy to me. For now, I have been using my cicalfate cream twice a day as prescribed by Dr. Nguyen.

I had a Mommy Makeover on 11/26/2019 at Lakepointe Surgery Center by Dr. John Nguyen of Sugar LandPlastic Surgery. My MMO included a breast lift w/implants, extended tummy tuck w/muscle repair and hernia repair, and lipo to upper and lower back, abdomen, flanks, pubis, arms and thighs. I am 5 days postop. I have been moving about since the first post op day, at first, with assistance from my husband and daughter--at postop 3 I begin to move around on my own. It is day 5 now and standing for more than 10 to 15 minutes makes my back hurt because I am still relying in those muscles instead of my abdominals.
I opted to get exparel aesthetic during my surgery and it has worked wonders, however, I cannot tell now if the exparel has stopped working and /or whether the numbess I'm experiencing is normal. My entire abdomen is numb like the side of your face after dental work. Hopefully the numbness will subside over the next few days, weeks, and month.
The scarring, so far, looks good and my pain has been controlled since I left the surgey center. I will write more as I progress.
