Consultation review: do your research

I had a consult with Dr. “G” Armendariz from True Contour Medical in regards to a cosmetic procedure I am planning. I was promised amazing results and felt excited to move on, but also felt a bit pressured to book that day. Well I’m glad I trusted my intuition. After looking up his credentials.
I saw his license indicates he is an anesthesiology, the Arizona Medical Board website does not reflect any specialization in cosmetic surgery, plastic surgery, or as a surgeon. This discrepancy struck me as misleading. He is not an actual plastic surgeon.
I have booked the services of a board-certified plastic surgeon. I am happy I did my research before making any kind of life changing commitments.
