3 Months post op TT + BA

I have procrastinated on this review. Originally I wanted to share my recovery experience along the way but I will try to keep this short and informative from my experience in hopes it helps anyone out in any way. I was recommended to Dr.D'Souza by a friend who had a breast lift with him. I always wanted a mommy makeover but never actually looked into it. I did look into finance first then booked my consult. I was happy to find out price was in my budget and I immediately booked. My Surgery was on May 24, 2022 that day went great. My husband was with me until I walked to the or. He met everyone who was going to be in the room with me. I felt taken care of and before I knew it I was waking up at home. I honestly don't remember any pain just feeling very stiff. I woke up thinking I hadn't gotten a BA because I didn't feel a thing nor did they ever bother me up until the second or third week i would feel a little pressure or discomfort. As for the TT I was treated like a baby by family and babied myself and my cut as well. I was extremely careful and did little to nothing. I did feel like it took me longer to progress in straightening up and walking for long periods. The post op instructions were pretty simple and vague. But I asked questions and followed whatever I was told. I saw him weekly. After the 2nd week closed to 3rd he did want me to lose my fear of trying to straighten up. I still felt tight and like I stretched one side more. I was supposed to go back to work at three weeks but did not feel anywhere close to ready. Sure enough he had mentioned there was an area that still was healing and compared it to a pimple or blister not sure anymore. I only had tape on that area. When I went to remove it to shower two days later it was open. It looked terrifying. I texted Dr D'Souza right away and he immediately called me with care instructions. I did appreciate him always responding immediately with my concerns. This open wound lasted an additional 4 weeks. With other areas opening as well. They did not start scabbing and closing until 7 weeks. I did not start feeling fully comfortable with movement and weight until the 10 week mark. Now I still don't feel 100% but I'm trusting the process as every week I feel stronger like before. I do love my results, my belly button, the size of my breast. Just not currently happy with the way my scars are healing. They are all red. My tt scar is very red and raised. I was told it comes with certain ethnicity and he can inject something later if it doesn't go away. Also I knew i would have drains but never thought of the additional scars I would get from them. The tt cut is pretty spot on with underwear but the drain scars are completely visible. Again I'm trusting the process as it has paid off just def has been a slower different recovery then I expected. My measurements before surgery were Bust 36, waist 29 hips 41 After bust 33/34, waist 29 hips 41 I'm 27 and had a 10lb baby and breast fed for a year he is now 6
