Week 4 1/2 - Lymphatic Drainage Massage
This Saturday I received my first Lymphatic drainage massage. I don't think I've experience anything like that before, than again I've never had a tummy tuck before. It's like she place my nerves back into place, if that makes any sense? She promised me she wasn't putting a lot of pressure but tell me why it felt so intense. It was relief when it was finally over. Not that I am complaining but I know she did her job and did it well! My doctor recommended I should get this particular type of massage because of the liposuction on my side flanks and inflammation. When I contacted Alesha for an appointment she was so informative about everything!! Very specific, very detail about she does, I absolutely recommend her to anyone! She knows her stuff and will give you advise to get the best results during this stage. Her honesty is what I like about her and the best part is that she comes to your home!!
2 1/2 weeks post surgery
It gets better and better by day. My incision is really healing fast, I have no bruises by the liposuction and I seriously believe is due to the great vitamins! Believe it or not the liposuction is what hurts the most of everything. It seems crazy to think but that area seriously gets painful than any other part of your body. I am however getting very tired of continuing to sleep on the recliner because of the swelling on my breast. I absolutely love the results but what’s killing me is how impatient I am being. I want to go back to my normal activities but my body tells me to take it easy and of course you have to listen to your body. Anybody else feels the same?
Drain removal
I am really looking forward to have my last drain remove. Unfortunately I have to wait until Monday but absolutely trust the professionals. Healing process is going well, my back sometimes gives in to the pain but have found massaging that area helps a lot. I am still on meds because I am afraid of feeling too much pain. My breast don’t feel as swollen, but do appear so. Still taking my vitamins and proteins shakes to increase the healing process. So far loving the results and my new garment just arrived. Can’t wait to try it on. Will have to wait till last drain is remove.
