Mommy Makeover

So I decided to write this review, since this site helped me so much to decide what procedures I want.
I had the option of adding a BBL, but decided not to, as I wasn't sure about how rough recovery would be. I am glad I didn't add it.
I am 42, have 4 kids who are teens and older, and was able to schedule time off. I met with a few Dr.'s and really liked Dr. Green's gallery of Mommy Makeovers. I wanted larger implants, but due to restrictions on my left breast, just had to add what we could. I was told this by multiple Dr.'s, and it made sense.
I really wanted an hourglass figure, and Dr. Green worked hard for sure and bringing in my waist.
I had surgery on March 1st, and am 4 days into recovery. Hubby is a champ with aftercare, and waaaay out of his comfort zone, but hitting it out of the park.
On the night of surgery, I had some bleeding into the drain that was too much on one side. I almost passed out. Dr. Green came to my house and explained that sometimes a blood vessel can continue bleeding after lipo, and isn't wrapped tight enough to control the bleeding--it is very rare, but can happen. So glad I had drains, otherwise, how would I have known? He rewrapped and added binders. He stayed for a while to ensure that everything slowed down and put me on rest for 2 days with lots of fluids, and texted me the next morning to check in.
I am sore everywhere. Dr. Green uses Exparel, so it hasn't been horrible, just enough where I needed the Norco. Today is the first day off of Norco in the daytime, and I am walking as much as possible in the house...it is raining crazy outside. I think I will get my drains out tomorrow....they have very little output.
You girls who go out of country, I don't know how you do it. Hubby has been amazing, and without a family support and Dr. who is on point and accessible, I would have been a mess.
I have taken a peek when changing compression garments and showering, and really like what I see so far. Still bunches of swelling, but definitely a cinched waist and perky breasts. I will update with pics as I have them. Just have some day of surgery befores for now.

Feeling better this week. Drains have been out for a few days, and I am keeping the compression garments on, as well as the binder on for 2 days after the drains came out.
Still have swelling and puffiness, of course. I am really happy with my belly button, and breasts. I got 275cc gel implant in the left breast, and 200cc implant in the right to bring them even--my boobies were a hot mess before this! If I want to go larger in the future I can, once my skin adjusts. I did not have enough skin on my left inside breast to allow for anything larger than that.
Of course you see pics of BA's that have very bad nipple placement, and I am thrilled that mine look so good. That is one of the reasons I went with Dr. Green....his belly buttons and breasts look awesome!

Hi All,
It is 5 weeks and things are going good. I have some sweeling still by midday through the end, but nothing horrible. It gets less and less. Mornings have the least, just waking up.
My incision line is super low, and my old belly button scar is coming along nicely. I will be using silicone tape on the scarring.
Still super happy and totally worth it!
