7m Post Op - Grateful to Have Chosen Dr Sedat!

I rarely write reviews, but I genuinely felt compelled to share my experience with Dr Sedat because I know how overwhelming and emotional it can be trying to find the right surgeon for a mummy makeover. My surgery included Lipo360, a breast augmentation and lift, BBL and tummy tuck.
I spent a long time researching surgeons both in London and abroad, so my decision to go with Dr Sedat was never based purely on location or price. From my very first consultation with him, I immediately felt calm, safe and comfortable in his presence. He has a very reassuring energy about him that is difficult to explain unless you experience it yourself.
What stood out to me most was how thorough and patient he was. I never once felt rushed during my consultation, and every single question I had was answered properly and honestly. His knowledge and professionalism were incredibly clear, but beyond that, he genuinely listened. His team were also wonderful throughout the process… extremely attentive, organised and supportive. Whenever there was something they could not answer directly, they would always go back to Dr Sedat and come back to me with a proper response. The whole experience felt incredibly comprehensive and well managed from start to finish.
When I arrived for surgery, that same feeling of calm and kindness continued. I was looked after so well in hospital, and although recovery itself was personally quite tough at times, which I think is important to be honest about, I always felt supported and cared for. I had daily support from a nurse post-operatively, Dr Sedat checked on me himself, and the aftercare was far beyond what I expected. My clothes were even washed for me, and I received lymphatic drainage massages as part of my recovery support.
I do think having my friend there for additional support was helpful, but overall I genuinely felt very looked after throughout the entire process. By the time I was signed off to travel home, I felt comfortable and safe to do so, and I continued having lymphatic drainage massages in London as part of my recovery.
I also want to mention that the level of aftercare I received was genuinely exceptional. Even after I returned home, the nurse continued checking in on me every single day for a lengthy period of time, and even months after my operation I would still receive random messages asking how I was doing and whether everything was healing well. That level of care made me feel like I was never just “another patient.”
Another thing I found incredibly reassuring was that Dr Sedat travels to London regularly, which meant I was able to have my three-month review in my own city. For me, that was almost unheard of and made the entire process feel even more safe, thoughtful and well managed.
Most importantly, I am now seven months post-op and truly happy with my results. The outcome has been brilliant, and I feel like the surgery was done with care, skill and attention to detail. I have already referred several friends to Dr Sedat because my experience was such a positive one, and this review has been written completely of my own accord. Not because I was asked to.
I know how difficult it can be to trust someone with such a major decision, so I wanted to share my honest experience in the hope that it helps someone else searching for the right surgeon. For me personally, choosing Dr Sedat was absolutely the right decision, and I will always be grateful for the care I received from him and his team.
