I choose Dr. Angeline Lim after a few consults. She seemed to understand exactly what I was looking for. She is very soft spoken but she is smart and comes with amazing credentials. All.of her surgeries are accompanied by her partner which is also beneficial.

This review is a long time coming. I cannot say enough good things about her and her staff. They took amazing care of me from consult to 1 year post surgery. They we always responsive to my questions and patient with them as well. Dr. Lim is really sweet and takes a conservative, common sense approach to care. She always listened to my updates without interruption. She is an amazing surgeon and has a lovely bedside manner. I cannot recommend her enough.

Congratulations. I am having mine done on Feb 25. Tummy tuck, lift and implants. Any issues for you at the 8 week mark,? We are traveling to Mexico so I am wondering if the humidity and travel is too soon? It's a day of travel.

Oh how exciting! I went back to work after 2 weeks. I have an office job and did my best to stay seated most of the day. Because for at least 3 months the swelling was really bad. Although, I realize by the photos I posted, it probably just felt worse than it was. There was some surgical soreness but by 8 weeks, I was back to doing my normal routine. Probably just a little slower.

Do you think you could have handled a 5 hr flight and layed on a beach after 8 weeks? With the extreme heat...etc...? How was your scar at that point? I am worried about it will look like.
February 14, 2019
Honestly, I probably would not have wanted to endure a long flight. Including packing, lugging around bags. I don't think I felt "ready" at that point. But, that is just me. I did a trip to Disneyland about 12 weeks after and was totally fine for that. Just continued swelling. My scar is still very dark, see my latest photos from this past weekend. But, if you are fairer in complexion, it might not be as noticeable. Everyone heals so differently I have learned from this site. You may have a totally different experience. Some women have very little swelling. Here's to a speedy recovery.

Thanks for your feedback I really do appreciate it. I will likely wait until the three month mark to travel. I am generally fairly light skin but tan well in the summer. Sorry but how long ago has been, and do you have regrets about any part of the procedure?
February 14, 2019
It has been 6 months since my procedure. I have ZERO regrets about the surgery. If I did it all again, I would have taken more time off work. It was OK coming back, but I didn't want to discuss my surgery with anyone so I tried to act more well than I actually was. That wasn't fun and I actually had the vacation time available to stay away longer.
February 14, 2019
Ok good tip. I will be working from home so hope to go at a slower pace.

Thanks for the timeline photos - very helpful. Looking great!

Thank you! I do hope it helps. I had trouble finding reviews of women who I felt I could physically relate to which motivated me to share.

5'3 - 180 Lbs Mom of 1 Delivered Via C-section

A tummy tuck was something that I have always wanted to do. Although I've lost/gained weight over the years,.one thing has never changed. My lower abdominal pouch. Sadly, it's a familial trait.
It was also as half but mostly serious on my part that my husband would treat me to a tummy tuck after children.
There reason I decided document was because I had a lot of touble on this site finding women's who's stats we're similar to mine. I am giant at 5'3 and weigh about 180 lbs and have a broad frame. I hope this will help others who look similar.
Anyway have celebrated my 40th birthday this year my husband suggested this would be a great year to finally do it.
Did I tell you he's amazing?
In the end I ended up going all-the-way so to speak. Looking for a tummy tuck and natural looking breast enhancement.
Breast Aug with saline implants. After lots of discussion with my plastic surgeon, I choose saline as I have a high risk of breast cancer and felt saline makes detection easier. Went with 415 implants filled to 420.

Finally someone who has a very similar build/body as mine. It’s been equally hard for me to find someone I can relate to. You look amazing. Keep me updated on your progress. I go in for surgery 10/3.

I know my before are beyond embarrassing and I will never be a petite model but, I am so happy with my result. I know you will be too. Good luck on your procedure! I will keep track ;)

Short story there is pain. Please let someone take care of you and stay on top of your meds. My breast may be a smidge less swollen however they still feel pretty sore and hard. I feel sorry mostly in the "sideboob" area.

As far as my tummy goes, I still can't believe this is my new body. Experimenting nwith a could of compression garments and I'm pretty certain They all pretty much suck.

Trying to stay on top of meds but able to get around. I have stairs so I consider that a bit of an accomplishment.

Food is pretty much off my mind these days but I force a bit of food and keep some Ensure close by just for the nutrition.
