3 Months Post Op - Official "BEFORE/AFTER" Photos

It's been 3 months! I feel great. I started exercise about 7 weeks post op. I have not done any weight lifting at this point, but I have done step aerobics, push ups, planks, burpees, mountain climbers. I have even been to the trampoline park with my kids and was completely fine!! Most things I have not had a problem with, but occasionally it is a little intense for my abs and I have to take a few days off due to soreness. I never do crunches or sit ups and assume I won't for a long time. I still have tenderness in my lipo area (flanks) and nerve pain. The nerve pain feels like lightening bolts and I hate it!! It's only periodically; irritating but tolerable. I also have some loose skin in flank area but it is only noticeable if I bend a certain way. I don't mind it too much. I will take it over the huge love handles I had before! It all definitely still feels worth it!! I am slowly gaining back flexibility in my abs and can bend back a little farther as time goes on. I can finally sleep on my stomach again but have to be careful when changing positions or getting up because the tightness is definitely still there. I will be getting a very minor revision on June for a tiny pucker at the end of my tummy tuck scar.

1 Month Post Op Update

It's been 1 month since my mommy makeover. I'm thrilled with my results and feel like I look even better than I expected. I don't feel completely back to normal, but I am back to most of my day to day activities, except exercise. Since I haven't been able to exercise I have tried to eat clean and focus on nutrition. I try to eat high protein most days. There is a noticeable difference in my swelling and discomfort when I am eating clean vs not. I have not started any scar therapy yet because I still have one small spot on my tummy tuck scar that is not completely heal. It has been very slow in that one spot. I still have some lumps in my flanks from the lipo that I continue to massage. I know that just takes time to resolve. Here are some stats:
Bra size - pre op: 36 AA/A, post op: 36B
Weight - day of surgery: 132, today: 127
Waist: 2 inches smaller
Flanks/mommy pooch: 4 1/2 in smaller!!!

Day 9 Update

Today was a good day! I am standing up straight and not using my walker anymore. Since I am taking ibuprofen now I have more energy and don't feel so "out of it". I think I took one Norco today and one muscle relaxer. The rest just ibuprofen. I have my one week post op tomorrow and hoping it's time to remove these darn drains. They are irritating!! Here are a few pics from today.
