Healing nicely!

It’s been a minute since I last updated, much longer than I realized! I’m doing great, nearly 3 months post-op now and no complications. I had a few spots on my abdominal incision that started to fester a bit due to suture knots and hair being stuck under my scar. So, naturally, I poked and prodded until I cleared it out!! It was so gratifying to get the little spots to pop; I like watching those nasty abscess-popping videos on YouTube!! I didn’t record my work though. I seem to be fully healed, no swelling, no adverse reactions. I’m very happy with my results!

WOWZA!!!!! You got one bangin’ body at 3 months! I can’t imagine how you will look in 3-6 more months! I was too scared to do a MM bc I was terrified of the TT pain my BFF told me about! So jelly! 3 weeks post-op

Hey there! So, I’m actually 25 days post-op, but my update pics are from 21 days post. I’m feeling really good, about 98% back to normal. Standing fully upright & sleeping in my own flat bed again. I’ve got a little spot on my abdominal scar that looks a little angry, but doc says it’s a suture knot that’s trying to work it’s way out. I suspected as much. He says Neosporin & a band-aid will help, and to leave it alone! I’ll take his advice.

Two weeks post-op

Hey everyone! So, today is 2 weeks post-op, and I’m feeling pretty good. Still not able to stand fully upright, and I’m still sleeping at a slight incline, but no big deal. I’m walking a little slow, but I think that’s more to do with my exceptionally bad knees than the surgery. So far, I’m really happy with my results and I think my surgeon did a fantastic job!
