New pics from the office!
Hey ladies,
I’m thinking that the split photos keep cutting off so I’ll just upload the ones I took at my PS office this afternoon. He’s very pleased with my healing and is confident that the slight swell I have in my upper abdomen is intraabdominal fat and the area will flatten with weight loss. Guess I’d better buckle down on eating well! :-)
Also, the lighting in the office makes my scars look darker than they are in person. Otherwise all is good!

4 months out
Hey ladies,
I thought I’d update since I’ve hit 4 months. I’m trying to run 3-4 times a week, with the binder on that I had in the last batch of pics as support. I’m still swelling around my period (like now!) and if I’ve had a lot of activity.
The vast majority of the time I feel totally normal. I’m still careful rolling over in bed and if my four year old son tries to climb on me, lol. I even did roller coasters today with no issues.
I’m attaching some photos from before my shower today, and I’m a bit swollen. The first picture in each side by side is from 3 months.
When editing my pictures it looks like they got too zoomed in and I can’t figure out how to fix it, so I hope they are still more visible for you.

First run!!
Hey there!
I’m thrilled to report that my first run (on a treadmill at the Y) went great! I walked 10 minutes for a warmup and then ran 30 minutes slowly without stopping, then walked another 5 minutes. Nothing hurt or felt tight as I feared it would. Hooray!
I’m posting pics of me in my sports bra (Athleta) and the corset style binder I got for working out. It was surprisingly comfortable!

Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
4825 Olson Memorial Hwy. (Hwy. 55), Minneapolis, Minnesota
Dr. Gervais and Minneapolis Plastic Surgery have been amazing to work with so far. They easily accommodated my request to come back in after my initial consultation to do another sizing and ask Dr. Gervais a few more questions. Everyone is friendly and willing to answer any questions you have.
