Finally starting to feel like this was worth it. Still won’t know for sure until i start exercising and testing out the body at my fire department when we drill and train.
Still feeling numbness but swelling is going down (lost 9 inches all around since week 1).
Boobs occasionally feel tight. Left boob makes farting or bubbles inside. I heard it’s normal and will subside.
My tummy tuck scar is slightly crooked which makes me sad... I’ll be asking the doctor why that is like that (maybe there was a good reason for it).
My boobs have marks underneath that i think are from the tapes but could be new stretch marks (totally didn’t think i would get new stretch marks but it’s definitely happening so I’m putting all the scar creams)

Swelling is slowly going down. Back is still tight and swollen. Abs too. Able to walk without walker, go up steps, shower standing and sleep in my bed (not comfortably but gotta figure out how). I was in a recliner. I can also go grocery shopping with help. Takes longer. I can cook dinner but again takes longer and better with help. Still have tape and will remove in another week. Next appt not until end of January. I’ll be 8 weeks post op.

Looking good darlin. I have lots of swelling in the abdomen also. Probably be the case for a few months Dr. said. I’ve been in the bed a week now, first night was beyond miserable my hubby’s a truck driver so I was alone that night and needless to say it was a very sleepless night :( next day however he stacked my pillows (4) diagonally, 2 small pillows on L/R side for my arms. A small pillow under my knees... and ahhh slept like a baby. Dr. gave me the “go” to sleep on my side and yeah... body isn’t quite ready for that yet. Woke up during the night with shooting pains in arms and abs weren’t to happy with it either. Everyday is a day stronger. Happy Healing!!

Trying to stay positive! Still super swollen and sore! Can’t stand up straight just yet. Maybe another couple weeks. Still using a walker to get around the house. Easily winded which is weird for me since i usually workout very hard. Humbling experience for sure! Finally forced to rest since i haven’t rested since my first born in 1998! lol
