Back to work

Went back to work on post op day 13, which was yesterday. I was surprisingly fine! Energy is back to normal. Walking speed is about 85% normal. Pain is maybe a 3 out of 10. Boobs and tummy tuck is tight and achy but totally doable. Nipple sensitivity is what’s getting me. Seatbelts, accidental arm brushes, bra shifts stop me in my tracks. Doc said to keep rubbing and stimulating them to desensitize them. Ouch! Trying not to be a baby about it but my nipples are super raw. It’s like I breastfed a werewolf. Lol.

2nd PO appt

Had my aereola stitches removed today. He said it was going to feel like removing a hair. I guess it did; like a long ass painful hair. It was just a fraction of the pain I felt when they removed the drains on post op day 4. (I took a Percocet just for that appointment since I read a lot that it hurts, and guess what? No one is lying. It really did burn.)
I also went to the chiropractor today for the back pain I’ve been having from hunching over the first week. He did cupping to help release the muscle, and it worked. I highly recommend it. The muscle spasms in my mid to lower back were so bad that if I were sitting up or standing up, my entire left side of my back would lock up.
On that note, yesterday, I took a turn for the better and was able to stand up all the way straight. I also removed my wedge pillow and was able to sleep flat. So there’s progress! I’ve just been walking super slow... and I hope I can get back to a somewhat ok speed by Thursday, which when I return to work.

Will I get ab cuts back after TT?

Even though I had saggy skin, I still had pretty good musculature under it. Question: after the TT can I still get “abs”?
