Mommy Makeover

WORTH IT$9,000
I’m finally having a mommy makeover after years of dreaming about it. Pregnancy wrecked my body, I lost the baby weight but my skin never recovered. My body is riddled with stretch marks and cellulite after years of gaining and losing weight. I had a hysterectomy when I turned 40 and that made my weight spread onto my hips and it is stubborn! I also have scoliosis which will give my ps some challenges. She’s got a few tricks up her sleeve though. I’m going to have abdominoplasty with muscle repair, Lipo to hips and back and a breast augmentation. So far I have chosen 350 and 385 ( different sizes to even out the scoliosis effect on my chest) moderate profile silicone. I may change my mind and will list it if I do.
These before photos are me at 5’7, 156 pounds, size 10 or 31 inch waist.my bra is a 36 c in this photo. I’m hoping to be a full c or maybe a d with the implants . Current measurements are
Waist 31.5
Across belly button 34
Fatty below belly button 39.5
Hips 41
I measure this extra fat spots because those are my problem areas.
My chest
37.5 across nipples
32.5 below breasts ( band measurement?)
I have a lot of fat on my backs and hips for my weight so I’m hoping this will help. .
My surgery is scheduled for Sept 5th with Dr. Heather R is Woodbury. It was important for me to have a female surgeon and I loved her approach and bedside manner.
My plan is to continue to work out and build as much muscle as possible to help with recovery. I hope to weigh anywhere from 138-145 but honestly I think I would have good results at this weight too. I just want to tone ams make sure I have strong glutes and legs for the recovery.

I’m considering Dr. R as well. Is your cost $18,000? It says $18 and I wasn’t sure. How was your consult with her? Did you consult with anyone else? Very excited to see your transformation! ❤️ Best of luck!

Yes it is 18K . That includes the surgery fee as well. Her fee is around $9000 and the remainder is the surgery center, anesthesia, recovery fee. One thing to note if you are using care credit is that she accepts it but the surgical center does not. I only went with her. I was going to get other consults but liked her so much that I feel pretty good about my choice . The entire office staff was great and when she came in she didn’t rush me like many doctors seem to do. She answered all of my many, many questions and seemed very honest with her answers. She didn’t try to upsale any procedure and gave me honest answers. I’m getting Lipo to my back and asked if I would have any loose skin . She told me I had decent tone but that I was 46 and would probably have some loose skin but it would look better. I appreciated her honesty. I liked that she is a female and I felt like she understood my needed. Great bedside manner and based on reviews I’ve seen here, skilled as well. Hope that helps!

I don’t have much more to report. I paid for my surgery and have to schedule for a class for me and my caretaker ( my boyfriend) I will then get a list of things to get and do then . I have been keeping steady at my weight . I haven’t lost many pounds only from 156 down to 152 but I’ve lost some more inches which is even better! I’ve been working on making sure my core, thighs and glutes are strong and nutrition is in top order to maximum healing. Someone in one of my support groups warned others about making sure your back is strong because that is a great source of pain for her so I’m very happy I’ve been proactive in that area already . I’ve also been dry brushing daily before my showers. Not sure how much that will actually help but it does get the blood pumping and wakes me up in the morning ! My size 10s are getting pretty loose but I don’t want to purchase anything until it’s all said and done . Plus I understand you get bigger before you get smaller due to all of the swelling . I purchased several a line button down dresses from old navy to wear. I bought them a bit big so they would be comfy. I like dresses and I think they will be more comfy than pants and waistbands rubbing on my wounds .
I’ll jot down my final measurements closer to my surgery. I’m optimistic that I’ll lose more ( I don’t think I’ll reach 145 though) I’m pretty happy with my size now, just want my shape contoured and smoothed out.

Pre op appointment

Just had my pre op appointment and education with Bonnie. My bf came with me so he could learn how to manage the drains. I did revisit the implant sizes and did decide to go up to 380 and 440. When we were looking at my sizes we realized that my discrepancy was larger than we first thought . This should put me at a 36D or 34D or DD. I’ve lost some weight since my last post and my bra band size is now 34 from 36. I’ll remeasure and post soon. I’ve lost about 3-4 pounds but also some inches ( yay) I don’t think I’ll hit 145 but I’m ok with that. I’m actually a nice size and shape where I am now . Photos to follow
