Dr. Najera in Frisco , TX has been incredible. Only 5 days post op and love love my results thus far. He was thorough and listened to everything I wanted. The anesthesiologist was so communicative and I’ve had no post op issues thus far. Highly recommended surgeon

Hey there. Would love to learn more about your recovery. My make over is scheduled for July 26th! Very nervous! Don't know a single person who has done a mommy make over

The first week I needed my mom. First 3 days I was like a newborn and needed her for everything. The pain was the most intense at 24 hours. I'm three weeks post op on Thursday and still have numbness and tenderness but doing good. I go back to work on Friday so we shall see how that goes . Your pre op clothes won't fit post op. I'm just starting to fit into things that aren't elastic waist

Thanks for responding... I'm trying to update my profile.. still new to this! you makeover looks great! The doctor? Did he give you a body contouring garmet to hold everything in, or...? What do you do for work? My job is a sit down at my desk in my office job,... I'm concerned i might miss too much work. ugh! I plan to return the following Wednesday after which is about 4 days after surgery. I know I'll need to be moving around quite a bit by then so... I don't know. I'm planning to wear really baggy clothing after... that's easy. my husband has lots of clothes. haha

Are these private messages between the community here on realself.com? thank you... I will definitely take it easy... That is, if I make this appt. I'm really scared... The thought of not waking is what really freaks me out... I have two kids and my husband. My kids will be at my in-laws for 2 weeks post-op.

I have no idea. LOL. I respond really well to anesthesia. I have 3 kids but I understand your concern. It the best money I've ever spent.

I BET!!! I do well with anesthesia as well... I'm having mine done in Mexico and the surgeon is a prestigious doctor. Very well known for his work. It's not a chop chop discount job. It's around 15,000. I wish it was done in the states but I decided on MEXICO because that's where I've gotten all of my cosmetic and dental work done and thus far? It's been wonderful experiences and money well spent and SAVED! I honestly don't trust any of the dentist or doctors here in corpus Christ! Just speaking from experience. Well thanks for all your suggestions and feedback! I'll keep you posted! :)

It went good!! Was treated so good!!! Did not expect all the pain I've endured and still am. Back pain is the worst!!! Not sure what to do now. Home recovering. Have one drain in. Not sure what I need to do with the stitches. Leave them open an breathing or taped up. Idk.

It went great!!!! There should be an updated review for me with lots of pics! To be honest? It turned out exactly like yours!! Very similar!! No pain but lots of discomfort and disgusting drainage. But I only had one drain and never any leaks! It was def an experience!! Hahaha

I'm a Lactation consultant. I had my arms done but not my legs... girl, good luck . Please take it easy bc I was on hardcore pain meds for 3 days before going on Norco. The dr. Recommends 2 weeks and I took 3 bc I'm on my feet all day.

My surgery is next Friday and I'm definitely worried about what I'm going to wear when I go back to work. Have you had to buy new clothes to tide you over until the swelling goes down? You look fantastic!

I wore a lot of dresses. I'm three weeks post op on Thursday and I'm just starting to fit in pre op clothing. Old navy has great dresses that are comfortable for after surgery

Thanks so much! I will make an Old Navy run tomorrow. Surgery is Friday morning, gulp!

mine is next friday! oy! 7/26... I'm planning to return to work the following week at least by Wednesday. I have my own office and people to help me around... I hope this will be doable. My job depends on me all the time... ugh!

I could barely walk on my own at 4 days. I think that would not help your healing at all. At least 7 days. You'll till have your drains in. The Dr will give u a garment . I couldn't stand up relatively straight till 2 weeks. I went to the mall to get scrubs for work and I was in pain the rest of the day just going to the mall. It wasn't until about 2 days ago have I felt ok.
