I am still feeling really good. Eating specific foods for healing and fighting inflammation and bruising. Eating is super important. Drinking lots of smart water. My husband also bought me a power lazy boy that I have been doing all of my recovery in. So, I don't have to use any of my muscles to get up and down or to recline or sit up. Super comfortable.
Second Day Post Op
It hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be. We will have to see what it is like tomorrow when the local wears off.... Already liking my shape.
Decided on a new Dr.
After meeting with several doctors and doing lots of research I decided on Dr. Behmand. Florida has a new law as of a couple of years ago that you can not take anymore than 2 liters of fat if you have made an incision. Mr.Mendieta is in Florida so, I started to look for other options. In my search I also discovered the High Tension Lateral Tummy Tuck. This would be ideal for me. Only a select few do this procedure. I visited the best in California and decided on Dr. Behmand because he knew exactly what I wanted before I could even tell him. The repore was amazing his vision was my own. And of course he is one of the top surgeons in the Bay Area and performs the HTLT. I am super excited and scared at the same time. Dreaming about it and spending countless hours looking at pictures and reading about it over the last 14 years is a different reality than an actual set appointment to have surgery. 6 days away.
