Yay 1 year
It’s hard to believe it’s been a year. I am so very thankful. Everything is going really well. I am back to 100%. Somethings that are different: swelling off and on to lower belly, numbness to lower belly, tightness to belly button area, decreased ROM to ab stretches. Every time I cough or sneeze I hold pressure to my belly button area. I will do that for ever probably. I do not want a chance of getting my belly button hernia back. I am pushing it in the gym, but am still cautious with ab routines.

You look terrific!! Do you feel that your abs are stronger than before the surgery? I have diastisis and loose crinkly skin on my belly form 3 kids. Wondering if a tummy tuck that addressed my diastisis would actually help to make my abs stronger (and therefore also help with back pain)? The skin on your stomach looks smooth and taut. Way to go! How does your belly button feel? Do you think your scar will change any further? You really look terrific! Congrats on getting this done!!!

Hello, thank you so much. I wondered about the same things before my surgery. I feel like my abs are stronger and my back pain has improved. I have no regrets. I look so much better in and out of clothes. I feel that my belly button and scar have a lot more maturing to do. I'm sure they will flatten more, lose their redness, and get smaller. If not there are injections and laser treatments that I plan on looking into. I thought I would get a tattoo over the long scar, but I have no intentions on doing that anymore.

You look great girl! I have all the same feelings as far as intermittent swelling, numbness, and the tightness. We will get there! Next month marks my one year and I plan to update then!!

Very happy with my results. Wouldn’t go back and do it over, lol. Still have swelling to lower abdomen off and on. Still have numbness to lower abdomen. Scars are still dark. Applying biocornem in am and mederma pm at night. I have gained 10 lbs since surgery. Not happy about that. I have not been watching my diet, but started running 3-5 c or week, cardio 30 min a day and weight lifting 3-5 lbs per week. Hoping to make progress with weight soon. Not sure what to do to get there other then getting down under 1300 cal per day and that’s hard.

You look great! I have a similar body to yours and I work out and keep my body in shape. Personally, I am conflicted about whether the recovery process and risk is worth it. I'm healthy and strong but there are aesthetic changes (stretch marks) I can do nothing about. I wonder if putting my body under that stress, requiring so much recovery would actually be worth it. You said you wouldn't go back and do it over but considering everything (cost, recovery, risk, feeling comfortable in your own skin) do you feel that it was worth it?

How many cc implants did you get, because I’m so unsure about how much I want
