Eight weeks post op! I’m so happy!

I feel like a lot of the swelling I felt I had went down a lot in the past two weeks. I started light exercise this week to offset going out to eat 5/7 days in the past week since I had friends in town lol.
Here’s another before and current comparison pic. I’m extremely happy.

Six weeks post op today

I am six weeks post op today! Two weeks ago I got fitted for a bra at Nordstrom and I am a 32DDD! I couldn’t believe it. I bought two bra, one t-shirt bra and one strapless bra with convertible straps.
I have been using my scar cream religiously every morning and evening. It took about four days after my last update for my right implant to drop to where the left one was and now they are both even. I’ve continued to massage my breasts twice a day everyday and they started to become much softer around 4.5 weeks post op. Right now I feel like they feel like normal breasts softness wise and am still continuing to massage them.
I had my five week post op appointment last week Thursday and my healing is coming along very nicely. The nurse who took my post op pics at appt couldn’t believe I was only five weeks post op and told me everything is healing really well. My belly button before surgery sucked and my new belly button looks way nicer. At my appointment, Dr. Richards said to continue massaging the belly button to get it to soften up and become a little wider... I didn’t know I was supposed to even start massaging my belly button! Lol. I’ve been massaging it a few times a day to break up the scar tissue and noticed it’s started looking much better ever since so I will continue to do that.
I can officially start working out tomorrow! I’m excited! Don’t know when I’ll officially start but it will be very nice to start toning myself up. My belly is usually a bit flatter than this but today I indulged with a lot of food to celebrate that it’s Friday and my good friend is in town.

Progress pics (before/after)

I got a few requests for before pics so here they are. Pics taken from the night before surgery to exactly three weeks post surgery. I still have swelling in my mid section and along the incision line, which is to be expected for the next several weeks. I’m so happy I got the surgery done! I didn’t realize how far I’ve come until seeing before and after pics in the same outfit.
