WORTH IT
Hi guys. So I haven’t really been on here much but I just wanted I do another quick update.
I’m still numb from my belly button down and some days it feels weirder than others, especially when I’m bloated. My TT scar still gets very itchy and has keloid right in the middle. If I’m being honest I was definitely lazy with my scar regimen so I can’t even be mad at that. I could explore some scar treatments but I honestly don’t care to since it doesn’t bother me at all really. Besides that everything else I good and I’m actually looking into doing my bottom half now (legs and butt). I have a lot of loose skin from my weight loss so I would like to address it. Clothes shopping is really fun and I’m actually forgetting that this wasn’t the body that god gave me Lmao. When I look at pics from just last year I don’t recognize myself so I feel like I’m definitely having some body dysmorphia going on.
Overall it’s still very worth it to me the entire experience. I paid off my surgery so now I’m just enjoying it right in time for the warm weather.

Thnx for sharing your experience even though you were very hesitant to put yourself out there, your before and after pics and your thoughts and advice have been very helpful in making a decision for me and you look amazing.
i really appreciate how detailed you were in your recovery picture lol your boobs look great hun i am so happy that you are satisfied and happy about your body its a different kind of happiness when you like the body you have when you look in the mirror
Congratulations on your surgery. You look great and your waist is so small.
I am your lower body sister. I was finally diagnosed with lymphadema and lipadema, which clearly you have too! It was a struggle to have people understand it’s our body putting fat in just the lower body plus arms. I was stage 3 when I did what you did. I have had two procedures so far on abdomen, hips, thighs and the second on Calves and upper arms. I really hope it won’t return. So happy you had the courage to get this done way younger than me! I wish you huge success! You look amazing! The proportions are right!
Congratulations! You look amazing. Both before and after photos are beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing.
I am so thankful to all the amazing women here on RealSelf who were willing to share so much of themselves and their journeys so that I could make an informed decision about my upcoming procedure.
I’m so glad that you’re happy with your results. Good luck on your journey.

I had my 2 month follow up with Dr. Tehrani yesterday and he thinks everything is healing really well. The only thing is my lower stomach right by my incision is still very swollen. He said if it doesn't go away by next month that we'll do a CT scan to see if I have a seroma. Honestly I've always had issues with the lower stomach swelling I just hope with time it'll resolve. But at least I know I'm not crazy for thinking my stomach should be flatter, everyone else just thinks I'm being a perfectionist. Besides that I'm back to work, sleeping on my bed, housework and life is normal besides feeling swollen by the end of the day. I kind of hope it is a seroma so we can just get it out already lol.

You look gorgeous my friend! So glad to see all is well :) xo
Thank you !!
You look amazing. And your about my dimensions. I seen you are a nurse. How long did you take off work? I'm getting lipo n ft transfer and being a fulltime EMT wondered about down time.
Hi , thank you! And i took 8 weeks because my job allowed me to , but I could've just taken 4-6 weeks honestly. The worst part of the recovery was the TT, if it's lipo and far transfer your downtime may be less.
Sounds good. Thank you!!
You look great! Thank you for the pics I am now torn between 3 doc I am researching here. i do not want to travel but I am just not seeing the results I see in other states and Countries in NY. But your pics are affirming to me that I can get good results here in NY too! Thank you for your transparency!
That's how I felt too, a lot of doctors in the states are much more conservative with lipo and implants. But Dr. Tehrani isn't conservative at all he delivers butts and boobs lol.
Also do you mind telling us what the price range was?
I paid $22k for everything. Pricey but it was worth it to me considering how much I had done.
Wow!
Congrats on your excellent healing and transformation! You look amazing!! I was wondering how much it cost you to have it all in one go? Also, what is your weight now that most of the swelling went down? Thanks so much!
I weigh between 157-161 now. So I did lose about 10 pounds after surgery. Right after surgery I was 188lbs so I was very very swollen since I did my entire body lol. And it was 22k for everything including the fajas , meds, overnight stay, etc.
Thanks!
Haha yes I did a tummy tuck and swelled up a lot as well!
Congrats again, you look fabulous

7 weeks PO

Can’t believe it’s been 7 weeks already wow. Looking back I never thought I would be normal again and now besides swelling I feel like myself again. The few times I go out to see friends or family everyone is commenting how great I look. I haven’t really seen them since before this pandemic and since then I lost 50 pounds and had plastic surgery so talk about a transformation lol.

I decided that I hate silicone tape and have invested in some biocorneum to help with my scars. The scars on my arms from the lipo seem to be darker than my TT and BL scars , I guess since it’s exposed to more sun I’m not sure. I only wear my compressions to sleep, but I still wear compression leggings during the day since it’s much more comfortable with a little something helping my lower stomach area. I can’t wait for the swelling to go down because I still feel like my stomach isn’t as flat as it’s supposed to be and my waist is still bigger than before the TT. Some days I freak out thinking that I’m gaining weight as in fat, but then I remember that swell hell is a thing lol.

MAJOR CHANGE:

I had nearly a breakdown because my areolas were nice and small and then I got my period and they doubled in size!! I’ve been down about that because they seem to be staying bigger now. But now I’m reading and this seems to be normal for periareolar lifts and the hormones from my period just made it worse ugh. I’m really hoping they don’t just grow everytime I get my period. Having bigger implants puts even more stress on the incision so that can make them grow even bigger. Im not interested in doing any revisions but I just wish I knew more about the periareolar lifts because this sucks.

Also, I am soooooo damn itchy. I had no idea that when your sensation returns back after lipo that it makes you itch. It’s almost unbearable, like Im covered in mosquito bites and can’t stop scratching. I take Benadryl every night now and it helps so much. It’s true that plastic surgery is always just one thing after the other.

I go back to work next week and I think I should be fine. I’m back to picking up and carrying my toddler and have been okay with that. The gyms near me have opened so I think I’ll start exercising soon and maintain my results.

Beautiful!
Hi! I had the same thing happen, some of my sutures came out and left open areas in my nipples. After your areas closed up, did the color return back to your nipple?
