Dr. Mabourakh is 10/10 amazing!

First off, I knew 3 years ago that Dr. Mabourakh was who I wanted to perform my surgery. I have waited nearly 19 years for this. I am 43 and have 1 child. I was planning a breast reduction (possible implant) & tummy tuck. I researched, did my homework and because of the industry I work in, I have seen a lot of other local surgeons work. Some of it great, some of it sub-par and mediocre. I am neurotic as all hell when it comes to my body. I am imperfect. I will never be perfect. But, I wanted to find someone who does meticulous work, gives realistic expectations, doesn't just sell you on what you want to hear and is the best of the best. Someone who is up front, ethical and does what is best for me and my anatomy. I knew from my first consult with Dr. Mabourakh, that I had picked the perfect doctor. At first I thought I wanted a reduction and implants and we talked about by why that didn't make sense for the end result I was going for. This is a doctor who will do what's safest before he will just do whatever you want. Plenty of doctors would have told me to go ahead and do a reduction and then put in implants during the same surgery. Dr. Mabourakh explained to me why that was so risky and why it might not actually be what I wanted. Turns out, he was right! So we decided a on Breast reduction and Tummy Tuck with some Lipo around the hips.
I had my surgery 8 days ago. 10/22. The first 48 hours were awful! I knew going in that it was going to be a rough first few days, but nothing could have prepared me for this type of pain. BUT, just like everyone told me....it was worth it. It felt like as the 48 hour mark passed it was magically 50% easier. Each and every day has been increasingly better. I didn't get to see anything until I went in for my post op this last Tuesday 10/27. We took my dressings off and saw everything and OH MY GOSH!!!!Everything looked better than I could have ever expected! My breasts are so much smaller and higher! My nipples are perfect! The belly button looks great! The incision across my abdomen is immaculate! All of it is. I am beyond elated! What I love most about Dr. Mabourakh is that he is to the point and very honest about what the right course of action is. This man is a wizard with a scalpel! I have met plenty of other plastic surgeons that feel like used car salesmen. I don't care if someone can schmooze well. That doesn't make them an amazing surgeon. It makes them a great salesperson. Dr. Mabourakh is friendly and amazing at what he does and you can tell he really enjoys surgery days! Nurse Jackie is his right hand gal and she is a riot! I adore her too....She's honest, funny and warm. The entire office staff is fantastic as well! Molly, Heather...literally every single person there is great! I cannot say enough good things about my experience. I am over the moon and I'm not even done healing. Thank you Dr. Mabourakh for being the meticulous and talented craftsman that you are! I feel so lucky that I was able to have you perform my surgery!
