Hello!! I am so happy to backn on here as I was remanesing my experience. Not a day goes by that I don't look at myself in the mirror and still after the long wait of recovery, finally happened, I am finally happy with my results. I no longer get the swelling. Here is how I finally got to where I wanted:

Hi there!! 2017!! Omg I have not been in here in forever!!!!. Let me just update you. Since October of 2011 a lot has happened to me. Number 1, my swelling has stopped!! Omg! Took me about 5 yrs? I quit my job in August of 2014, Due to a health problem with my daughter. In the meantime, I discovered T25. It's an AMAZING workout program. Let me tell you that what I was doing wrong the entire time I was trying to recover was not eating right and not exercising. That was my major problem. Ever since I got on this program, my life has changed. Its a workout program that you can easily do at home, only 25 minutes a day in the privacy of my home and very manageable since I have a busy schedule. I started to faithfully drink the amazing detox waters, such as my number one favorite, 2 qt container, 1 Cucumber, 1 Lemon, 10 leaves of Peppermint, and a few slices of Ginger. Let that sit over night and drink daily if possible. Not only does it help with inflammation and swelling, but it also really cleanses you gently and boostes your immune system and motabalism. I have done this program at least 5 time already. I also eat a lot of blue berries. So basically anything that detoxifies your system is a go for me. I don't have my six pack that I always wanted but I feel so much happier with my results. I have lost 15 pounds, I went from 130 lbs to 115 and I have managed that weight for three years now. I still have a little bit of lose skin left but I'm ok with it since I don't wear bikinis because of my bad stretch marks. I'm still ok and feel great about myself. I am now 35 yrs old and my kids are older and I can take better care of myself and by all means I do. I hope you're doing well and happy with your results also. I never knew all the things I could have done, and exercise was definitely a number one and I didn't take that commitment or time to myself back then. I was a working mom, my son was only 1 when I did this and I also had my 5 yr old. Overall, I am very happy. Mainly because I take nutrition much more serious now then I did back in 2011. So sorry for the late update. I have also discovered Yoga, and that really helps me out with my core since I have inflammation in my back and therefor I cannot really do sit-ups to get those muscle tight, but there are so many other workouts that can help with this issue. Overall I very happy, I finally fit in cute clothes went from a size 9 to a 4/5. Not worrying about that yucky pouch that prevented me to fit properly in my jeans :( But now, I am very dedicated to my mind, body and soul. So hang in there. You are beautiful and you will find what works for you. Most of all, try to get on a workout program to help w the swelling and a healthy diet are the number ONE keys to a successful recover. I wish I had done that, but life just went to fast and I didn't follow through.

I hope you're all doing very well and know that it is worth it to get your body back and take care of yourself. No matter what age. Health is a very important part of life and I am so blessed, that through trial in error, I discovered myself and what works for me. ????

Wow. I am so happy that you reported. I always wondered what happened to yours. Thanks so much. I have a little rounded bellyol mostly lower and really hoping diet and eating right will help! I am 4 months po. Can I ask you...when you had the swelling were you able to suck in your stomach??? Were you able to tighten your core muscles and it looked better? And would it get flat if you laid down? Thanks!

Week 7- Well all in all I'm feeling better. I haven't posted any pix as I'm still very swollen. It's discouraging but somedays it looks good. Still waiting to see my stomach without the swelling but for me that's gonna be a while it looks like. Wired but true. A lil sad but I know patience is required in all this. Implants look good still.

I know this is an old thread, but how are you doing now? I am 19 Days Post Op and definitely so very swollen. Do you have any updates? You look really good! How are you liking your new body?

Several years out and absolutely so happy I had it done. It was at the 5-6 month mark before I felt like all swelling had resolved. In hindsight of my previous body shape vs now, without a doubt very happy!

2017 Update!! Hello Vanish66!! So sorry for my very very late response. My swelling has gone away. I have added an update and some pics on my profile . Not the best tummy pics because I don't have a 6 pack or even a 4 pack by any means lol, but my pictures are just me being happy and comfortible in my own skin and my clothes. That's all I really wanted. I mean, if I didnt have my stretch marks, I would be a little more tummy show off lol But overall I am Still very happy I did this. Every mommy deserves it.
