I have always been a curvy girl but not overweight but I couldn't get rid of my double chin (which unfortunately runs in my family) I went to see dr Elkhart to see if my expectations were realistic with the procedure. We agreed chin Lipo under local anesthesia was the right way to go. After seeing reviews on here I was very scared of being awake, but with just a local and 2 xanax I had absolutely no pain! Even though I'm only 3 days post op I can already see such a HUGE difference! I will keep you all posted as time goes on :)

I was awake during mine, TERRIBLE experience for me! BUT, I lovvvve the results! Best money I ever spent! You look great! :)

So far so great! Went to see dr Eckhardt on Friday and he said he is very pleased. I must say, this procedure wasn't as scary as I thought it would be and the pain was very minimal. I already see a huge change in my profile and definition in my face. Yay!!! :)

Yes ..definitely after seeing your results. Did you have any down time? Did you have to wear a compression garment?

ThAnk you!! I can feel a few spots underneath my skin but visually you can't see anything! He says it's normal to feel some of that while I'm still swollen

You look great!! I'm really interested in getting it done, and I'm so excited for it to happen after seeing your results. How long did you have to wear the compression garment? Also I'm really wanting to do my surgery in secret, do you think, now you've had the surgery, that you could look after yourself by yourself?

Thank you!! I wore the garment for 6 full days (which is why I did it over thanksgiving) the procedure was such a breeze, the only thing I needed someone there for was to drive me home afterwards bc the xanax was pretty strong. This is definitely something you can do on your own though, by day 2 I was ready to be out and about were in not for the garment

Almost 2 months out!
Doctor Eckhardt is very happy with the results so far, as am I! Swelling is going down but still won't see final results for a few more months :( Grr! Lol feeling great though!
Thanks for sharing- definitely keep us posted! Are you wearing a compression sleeve on your neck?
Ha ha yeah the neck CG sounds just awful- you can't hide it. BUT it is totally worth it! But I wouldn't have worn it to Thanksgiving dinner either ;)
