Before and after pictures. The after is only one week later, one breast is higher than the other, but with time I am sure they will even out. I will post another update in a few months.

Hello. I am glad to find a review for Dr Eckhardt! I have my BA scheduled for April 19th and CANT WAIT!! I am SOOOO READY! But am still looking at a ton of before and after pics, so when I go to my preop appt, I can show him a better idea of what look, shape and size I'm wanting. During My consultation, we really didn't go over many of his before and after pics, and I only showed him 2 pics that I had in phone to give him an idea. So based on that, he and his Nurse decided smooth round 350cc is what I will go with. But I am VERY PICKY, and what a NATURAL LOOK AND FEEL, yet want some jiggle and a little cleavage. So will will see if thats what we end up going with. I will follow u and look at your before and after pics, and consider making an account to document my journey as well. I already have taken PLENTY OF BEFORE PICS these past couple of weeks! :)

Hi! I'm so excited for you! You will love your new appearance. I couldn't wait for the day of the surgery to arrive, I even had a countdown on my phone :) It definitely does help to look at before/after pictures to determine what kind of look you are looking for. My goal was to have them still look real, feel real, and to have a little bit of bounce to them. It's only been a week and a half, but I love them already and so does my husband. I'll have to post updates each month so we can see the changes as the months go by. Yes, please consider making an account! Your story may help other ladies as well! Dr. Eckhardt does an amazing job so you will NOT be disappointed. The nurses will help keep you calm the day of the surgery. It will go by so fast that before you know it, you'll be on your way home to recover! Recovery isn't as bad as some people make it out to be, just make sure to stay on top of the pain killers the first few days and rest, rest, rest. I ended up sleeping in a recliner for the first week, but have moved back to the bed (surrounded by pillows to make sure I don't roll over to my side or stomach)! Please feel free to ask any questions or concerns you may have throughout the process. I'm excited for April 19th to get here for you!!!

That is so funny! I wanted to do a countdown on my cellphone too, but didn't know how to do it or if it could even be done! ...but anyhoo..thanks for your reply. I'm sure i will have lots of questions. I had my consultation on March 10th and booked my surgery on March 11th, for April 19th...and the irony behind those dates is that I am 39 and this is my Birthday present to myself for my 40th (in June), and so I found my surgeon exactly 40 days before my surgery date and I booked by surgery date exactly 39 days before my surgery date. I didn't PLAN it that way. After i booked the date, i counted down the days, and that's how i discovered it! I just thought that was SO COOL, and solidified my decision and let me know that it was all meant to be. The surgery, the timing and the surgeon..so i am Praying that all goes well and that i am happy with the results. Right now, i'm a small 36A, and looking to be a around a full B/C range. So as of now, i am going with 350cc smooth round. But of course, when i go to my pre op next month, it may change, but probably not by much..I know picking the RIGHT SIZE is Very Important, but i think that's pretty middle of the road..I wont be too big and i wont be too small..at 1st, i didn't even want it to be noticable to people AT ALL, so i only wanted to be a B cup..but with my height and weight (5'6'' 145lbs), i can definately go a little bigger and still look natural and more proportioned, and also still be able to fit most of my tops and dresses, for the most part...so we shall see! I am TOO EXCITED!!! I am SOOOOO TIRED of PADDED BRAS!! I already have all my old bras packed up and ready to send to my teen niece out of town!!

That's neat about the irony behind the dates! I love that you are giving yourself this gift for your 40th birthday. That sounds like the perfect birthday gift to yourself. It seems like you are going with a good size as it won't make you look fake, they'll just enhance your appearance and help you feel better about yourself. I specifically said I didn't want to look like a [RS bleep] (LOL!). The way I see it is if you are going to spend the money, you may as well go big enough that it's worth the money. You don't want to go just one cup bigger and not have that much of a noticeable difference. At least you have the pre-op appointment to try the samples out again and possibly consider going a little bit bigger. I'm only 5'3" and about the same weight as you so you could definitely consider a bigger size and still look very well porportioned. It's hard to contain your excitement isn't it?! How funny that you have your old bras packed up and ready to send to your niece, haha! I still have all my old ones, never even thought about what to do with them. Maybe I should save them for my niece as well!

Hello again. I haven't been on here for a few days. Think ing that I will start a profile as well. Trying to figure out how to do it. But I was wondering how things are going with you and if there's been much change since your last pics? I wanted to see of they have started to drop much..I'm not looking forward to that 'torpedo' stage, so I want to get an idea of how quickly yours are settling...

Glad you decided to start a new profile! I'll post an update (in a new thread) with pictures so you can see how things are progressing.

Two and a half weeks post-op

It's been 2-1/2 weeks and things are going great. My breasts are starting to drop, feel more natural, and are softer as the days go by. I wear the band at night as they are still a little high on my chest. I've been massaging them 3 times a day, per doctor's orders. The glue finally came off so I have started to use the scar cream. The scars look pretty good, they aren't as bad as I feared they would be. I went to the store and tried on some bras just for the heck of it and was surprised to see a 38DD was too small. Of course, I know they may get a little bit smaller as they get settled into the pockets. To wrap this up, I'm still loving them and can't wait to see how things progress over the next few months!

Good deal!! Thanks for the update! They were sitting VERY HIGH, so that was one of the main things i was curious about..and I just threw together a profile/review, so I'm OFFICIAL NOW!

It does get confusing trying to figure all this posting and navigating here! I know what you mean about them sitting very high, they're dropped a bit since my last update. They still feel like they're in my armpits, but it's not an uncomfortable feeling. Wearing the band they send you home with helps a lot so make sure to wear yours (unless you receive different orders from the doctor)!
