Day 5 post-op and back to work

Went back to work today. No pain medication needed. Feeling very fortunate to not require pain medication. Went and bought a couple larger blouses for work because I was popping the buttons off my regular work clothes. Once I get the ok from my PS, going to focus on dropping some weight and getting back into the gym routine. Hopefully the old clothes will fit again once I lose some back fat! Swelling has gone down quite a bit and I can't wait to get fitted again for my new bra size and get out of this post op bra! since my PS had to create a bigger pocket for the larger implants there is more swelling with the exchange than if it were just a same size implant changeout. I can hear fluid that is in the pocket of the breast and the staff at the PS office said that's normal and should subside after a week or so. Did some research online and found the same info from other PS. Since I'm only 5 days post op I will wait a bit before I freak out again if the fluid is still there. My 1 week follow up this week and then a 6 week follow up after that.

Hoping for a DD!

Feeling good. 3 days post op. Tried a few times to post an update sooner but kept getting I interrupted. So here it is, went with 550 silicone over. According to my PS that's the biggest I should go without having then too wide for my frame. Or look to top heavy. Was considering 600 but I'm glad I went with 550. Implant exchange went well under local anesthetic. I wouldn't recommend it if you have a low pain threshold. It was hard. The lidocaine shots and the cauterization when he had to make the pocket bigger to accommodate the larger implant. I am so very happy with the results though. Question. For anyone that has had a revision, do they drop still after a revision like when you initially get them in? I remember them sitting way up high when I first got them in 4 years ago.
In any case, I'm happy with the results and my hubby is excited for the day he finally gets to touch them without me wincing in pain. My post op instructions are to massage each one for 1 min everyday. Yay! It hurts so bad! I haven't really needed any pain medication which is great because I can't take any narcotics or ibuprofen (post op) and I don't like taking g a bunch if tylenol because of the effects on the liver. Overall even though the being awake during the procedure was somewhat traumatic I'm glad it's over and I'm over the top happy with the results! As you can see in my pics I opted not to get a nipple reduction. #1 don't want scars (I scar pretty bad) & #2 my hubby likes the big nips. It would be nice to have my small nipples back pre-pregnancy/breast feeding size but I don't want to be too vain and then end up with horrible scars and be disappointed. The post op big looks bigger than what they are i think because my hubby was close with the camera snapping shots. And swelling too! Thanks for reading my post and happy healing!

4 more days!

Well, we are all paid up. Wednesday is the big day. Decided in my size. Going with bilateral 550 HP silicone. I'm most nervous about doing it under local anesthesia. I've talked to a few people and majority say I will be fine exchanging under local. I trust my doctor. He did my first BA. I should have listened back them when he said most people wanna go bigger. I will post before and after pictures soon. I'm also worried about pain control after. I can't take narcotics because of the side effects. I have a sphincter of Oddi disorder which causes spasms when I take any morphine or codeine derived medications. It makes it very difficult post op! And I've had many surgeries. Both cosmetic and non cosmetic. The spasm pain is so much worse than the post op pain that I just deal with it and take the edge off with Tylenol. I'm super excited to have fuller even breasts. Time to get some rest. Tomorrow I'll be stocking the fridge with easy eats while I'm down for a few days. From what I hear revision is not as bad as the initial. I hope so be a use I'm back to work the Monday following my surgery.
