I wanted to have these breast implants out for a while and finally had the nerve to go through with it. They ere hard as rocks and started getting a little deformed. I talked to my husband, who has only seen me with the size 32D breast and needed to have him on board with this. He was totally supportive and didn't care what they would look like and was more concerned that I was healthy and would be around for growing old together. I am 4 days post op and feel great. I had no idea that my implants were in such bad shape. My doctor had to scrape out as much as he could find of the silicone. My drains are hopefully coming out tomorrow morning. I started shopping online for some beautiful bras to enhance my beautiful small natural breast. It is no longer a fad to be a blonde big breasted Pamela Anderson, bombshell. Many Hollywood women are removing theirs with no replacement. I will add photos as I get them from the doctor.

Congratulations! I had my saline, under the muscle implants removed on the 15th. It is such a relief to be in the other side.

Thanks so much for sharing! What has your recovery been like?

It has been 10 days and I feel great! I wouldn't look at my breast when the doctor removed the drains because I could see when opening the bra from the top that they were a little deformed. I waited and wanted to be alone when I got up the courage to see. I had a really bad day after seeing them. I cried and cried. The doctor said that my right one had become calcified and had to be chipped out! I would have gotten them out years before but didn't have the money to do it. There are hardly any good before and after websites to give you good feedback on what to expect. Women need visuals. Your photos and information are a big help to all of us. I will put my before and after on here once I can show some progress.

When you look at videos of capsulectomy the calcification part is on the inside lining of the capsule. Trying to imagine what he's referring to by "chipping it out"! Remember, you are still very early in your recovery...plenty of time for fluff to occur! Thanks so much for continuing to post!

I guess they were leaking for the last 3-4 years that I had them. It was getting harder to get out of bed. I was hunched over and was sore all over like I had arthritis. When I went places where I had to walk I would get sore and tired easy. I thought it was my age but it wasn't. It has been a slow process but, I am getting my strength back. I bounce out of bed now, just like I used to. I also suffered from excruciating migraine type headaches. Read my update on my sight. I'm glad I'm back to what I was born with. It feels good to feel good!

I had mine out January 16th, 2015. Mine had to be scraped out. I had noticed that my health was going downhill about 2 years prior. I couldn't get out of bed without hunching over. I thought I was getting old and had arthritis in my joints. I didn't! It was the leaking silicone. I walked like I was a 100 yer old. It has taken a while to get back to myself but I started running again and also was finally able to start losing weight. I have embraced my wonderful warm soft breast now. What a mistake I made by getting those horrible things. Keep roughly massaging them and all of the time. It helps. Your breast will get better if you keep pulling and massaging them like crazy. I also got one of those machines like mothers get to express milk and use it every day. It helps to break up that car tissue that is causing the puckering. You can manipulate scar tissue.

Hi, congratulations on feeling so much better! I also have mine in for 27 years and can't wait to have them removed. I'm searching for the right surgeon. How were yours removed, under the breast fold? They are looking very good! Were yours under the muscle and silicone? Mine are both of those lovely features. I'm very scared of the whole thing.

Mine were over the muscle and were silicone. Thank you for for the nice compliment. I see a difference already but it's a slow process. I don't see very many photos like mine. I think a lot more women have photos similar to mine. I think they are afraid to come forward and afraid they may scare people off from getting them removed. I do miss my full breast on bad days. But my health is more important than the breast. Good luck with your decision. It took me several months before I decided. My family is so supportive. Especially my husband.

Thank you for responding. I'm glad you feel happy with your decision. No matter what, I'm having mine out. but since they are under the muscle, I don't think they'll look good at all. Sigh. As to family, do you have children? I do and I'm not sure how to tell them. They are 14 and 19 years old. Ugh.

Hey there, you have plenty of breast tissue and you're nice and high and...symmetrical! It looks like there might be some tethering going on. I think with massage all of that will correct in time, my PS said I could begin massage right away...been using coconut oil but only since yesterday (my 4th day out). Patience sister!

Thank you so much for your supportive comments. I am shocked at how much breast tissue I actually have. I honestly should not have gotten the implants. I feel like I mutilated my body. Yes, massage is helping very much. I bought Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Massage Lotion For Stretch Marks and Advanced Clinic Green Coffee Bean Oil Thermo-Firming Cream and massage with both at least once a day. I also bought a Hai Sun Fong Beauty Server suction device. It really massages, pulls and stimulates the breast. I am trying everything. It can't hurt!

I recently told my 19 year old son that I'm having my implants removed and he said "Oh I forgot you had those". Lol! He was planning on coming with me but I rather not. It was really nice that he effort to help. You'll be surprised how well kids nowadays accept these type of situations.

I don't remember telling him when I had my BA. He was 8 yrs old but I'm sure he heard someone commenting on it. Maybe one of my sisters since they can be loud and indiscreet. Ha..ha..got to love them. But yes he knew.

I don't think your boobies look little. You have lots of wonderful breast tissue left. I can see a difference in your shaping too. I know its a change, but its a good change. I am 12 days out and feel wonderful. I am still bruised and my breasts are different sizes at the moment but I am just thrilled to have those rocks off my chest! Happy healing to you!

My health is much better and my bones, joints and muscles don't hurt or ache or swell anymore! But since my implementation I have indentations the size and length of my finger on both breast at the cleavage area. It really is noticeable and gross! I bought a breast pump to message them vigorously to break up the underlying scar tissue but they're still very noticeable.

So glad to hear your health has returned which is the most important. Were your implants above or below muscle? How long did it take after your surgery to feel like your normal self again? I have had rocks in my chest for 36 years and would live to have them removed.
