3 years and 6 months post op.
WORTH IT
Same mirror, different woman! Pre-op 263lbs and 3 years post-op 96lbs. I’m at a lower weight than I should be but I’m trying to gain a little. I got divorced in May of 2018 and have struggled with all the changes in my life. I’m trying to learn to eat healthy and take better care of myself again. I’ll get there. The doctors say I should be around 125-140, which I personally think is on the high side for me but I’m shooting for about 115lbs. I felt my best at that weight.

14 months post op and 158lbs down!
I’m currently down to 105lbs. I didn’t intend to lose this much but I feel amazing! I’m in the process of going through a divorce and that has had an even more positive effect on my life! I’m currently in school full time and everything just seems to be going in such a positive direction!

What is your target goal weight? Have you started exercising? What is your typical day of meals? I am scheduled for Mid March sleeve
ccsullivan, how much did your surgery cost you? And did you have to travel or was it near your home?
My insurance paid for most...I had about $1200 total out of pocket. I had surgery in my city :)
Looking great and your happiness shows in the pictures!!

I'm now 10 months post op and 144lbs down!
While it's not ideal, I've reached 118lbs. That's 145lbs down since my pre op diet started 10 months ago. My doctor suspects a stricture so I'll see a GI next week. Even with this little bump in the road, I have no regrets!

You look great, and it sounds like you feel good too. Kudos!
I've had the same good luck with my sleeve.
I've had the same good luck with my sleeve.
I am in the process of completing my steps to get my surgery date...I am very NERVOUS surgery and stressing about complications and the lifestyle long term....I have done lots of research, but it is better to see others stories. Any advise and how did things go with your GI appointment>
