Over all, I am so extremely happy with how I look now, but I do have a larger upper ab area than I would like. Prob because I have a Lap Band and the port is in that area so it couldn't be pulled as tight. Maybe I should have found a different PS who was more versed in Lap Band procedures - although my PS is AMAZING!! I am trying NOT to obsess over it - because it is so worth it. I am still a million times better looking than I was when I started.

Thank you ladies - I am so happy with how I feel now with the "flaps" all gone, but why is we can so easily dismiss the "good" out come and solely focus on the "bad" area that we aren't 100% happy with?? Before this surgery I would have said I was not that kind of person at all. Now, what the heck happened??? I guess I am fighting the mental battle more than anything. Thank you for your encouraging words. They are APPRECIATED - very much!!

Your before & after are amazing! You will only get better from here. You are still swollen it can take up to a full year to see final results. Happy healing ;)

Hi, Mbowden72! I finally was able to find the last thing we wrote and see that you had started a review. So sorry for the delay... my little one was in the hospital for almost a week and so sick. Doing much better now though! :) As you can imagine when I got home, I had a huge mess... a ton of laundry to do, etc. lol

Your before and afters look amazing! Did you get a lollipop lift or a "donut" {just around the nipple} one? Looks amazing as well! Sorry about the area that you are upset about. Maybe it will go down once all the swelling has settled? Sometimes the swelling can push/pull and make things look different than how they actually will be when the swelling goes down. You look AMAZING! I'm so happy for you! Brightest Blessings and Happy healing to you!!

HI FindingMe2015 - good to hear from you! I had the lollipop lift on my breast. And I am really liking them now. It feels so good to have smaller boobs! (That's funny because a lot of women are paying to go bigger and not many of us actually want smaller. ha!). I feel better everyday and this week will be my 9th week post op. I still have some hard lumpy areas in my breast (swelling I think?) - and I will be so glad when that is all gone. It don't hurt all the time - just shooting pains randomly. My stomach is perfectly healed with no real issues. Of course I am still unhappy with that upper ab area - but I am still amazed every single day at how much extra skin he was actually able to take off. I am very happy that I had this surgery! I go back to the doc in August and I will talk to him about some possible lipo on that upper ab area - in hopes that it will help and make me more happy with my body and spending nearly $7,000! I don't know if he understands how long it takes someone like me to save that kind of money. Thanks for replying to me - hope to hear from you soon! :)

That is awesome, MBowden72! I'm so happy that you are happy with your new girls! :) I can't wait to get mine, but the tt will come first.{I have to do my in stages} I'm also relieved to hear that your tummy is perfectly healed and no real issues. That is definitely great news! I have read a lot of reviews about the shooting pains, etc. I think that is nerves/etc coming back after being cut, etc. Not sure, but I think that is what they said. Sorry that you are having that though! {{{BIG HUGS}}

I forgot to ask... did you have a hernia repair with your tt? I have a hernia and I'm wondering what will be the result after the tt. I've read that it is fixed with the muscle repair/tt, so hoping it works out.

I think my PS wants to do a Periareolar Mastopexy on me, but I think the lollipop lift would be more of the "lift" I want. I will speak with my PS more about it. I think they are very intelligent, so I think I should listen to what they say before I try to design my own surgery. :) lol I just know that I want my boobs UP and not 'natural". I definitely have "natural', so I want NICE now. lol I'm tired of my saggy boobs. :( I'm one of the ones that will want huge boobs. I had them and have lost MOST of them. I really enjoyed my breasts and not having them has been hard. I just recently lost another cup size in losing inches and it makes me depressed. Maybe because they just sag more? I guess I wouldn't have minded had they not looked so deflated and gross. It is hard being plus size and having NO boobs. As you can imagine, clothes are very hard to find that fit. I hate shopping and hoping after the tummy tuck that isn't an issue any more.

Please keep us updated when you go back to the doctor. Update with photos and how you are doing also. It is good to read the reviews from everyone and see photos. I plan to do mine for at least , 6 months to a year, so that there are more reviews spread over a longer period. I hope that you will also even if you get lipo added on later.

It is good to see you posting and to hear your updates. I'm so happy that you got your surgeries and are happy for the most part. I'm getting excited about speaking with the PS on July 22 and figuring out about my surgery date. I have to admit that I am having a range of emotions which is really weird to me since I have wanted a tt for years. Weird huh? lol Anyway...brightest blessings and Continued Happy Healing to you!

FindingMe2015 - those emotions are very common - don't stress about those! In fact, the night before my surgery, I sat down and wrote a "If Something Happens to Me in Surgery" letter for my family. I cried and cried and cried. I wanted the surgery so bad but it is soooooo scary when you get put to sleep for any type of surgery! Also, I had guilt about spending so much money on my "vanity" - although some of mine was medically necessary too. It was def a roller coaster for my emotions. I almost chickened out a few times. Thank goodness I didn't! It is so funny when I shower now - before I was picking up every "roll" and making sure they were clean and rinsed and how I don't have any rolls left to lift up. so amazing!!! My boobs are now a normal size D - and I would say they are as perky as when I was a teenager, but I was pretty heavy as a teen so I don't think they have EVER looked this good. Ha! I will post more pics soon. I am 9 weeks post op today and not much has changed since the last ones I posted. A little more swelling has went down - but not completely. At least I hope. And no, I did not have a hernia repair - but I did have stomach muscle repair and tightening. And yes, if you have a hernia - I am almost 100% sure that will be taken care of with your TT surgery. That is pretty common and the reason a lot of women have the surgery to begin with. I don't know if I would have had the nerve to do a 2nd surgery if I couldn't have done them both at the same time. The recovery for the TT is something else (seriously!) - and I prob just would have said to heck with my boobs after all that. But in a way - maybe splitting it up wouldn't have made it so tough. I guess anyone could argue both sides. We all just have to do what is best for us individually and make the best choices we can. Only a few more days until you talk to your PS and get your date! Yay!! Please make sure you keep me posted.
