Pros of breast implants
- I'm not flat chested in a sports bra
- They look nice, full and pretty without clothes, I ONLY LIKE THE SIDE VIEW THOUGH.

Cons:
-Constantly aware of them
- I can no longer give hugs without feeling the implants between us, so I side hug now :/
- Shortness of breath from the weight of implants
- Extreme fatigue from not being able to breathe
- Extreme turn off to feel my husband grab my breast, then immediately feel a hard implant roll across my ribs
- Clothes don't fit well
- I'm constantly covering them up with baggy clothes because they make me feel FAKE FAKE FAKE!
- Uncomfortable sleeping

That's not all, but if gives you ac idea. I got 421 cc smooth round silicone implants under the muscle. I actually paid to have my body sliced open, and have a toxic bad shoved between my pectoral muscle and my ribs, and I'm disgusted with myself. I had a flat 34A/32B before, and I really wish I had only gotten the areola reduction, without implants. I'm currently a 34C/32D, and I've been reading Explant stories since 2 months after I got implants. My husband thinks I should keep them so it won't be a waste of money, and he along with everyone else thinks I need to give myself time to adjust, but if they make me unhappy and uncomfortable, I think the money for my implants has already been wasted. I have my first appt to discuss with my surgeon next week, and I pray that he feels for me,and it won't be too expensive to remove them.

I am so glad i ran across this posting? I had a mm with breast augmentation almost 3 months ago. A month ago I started feeling pain and higher implant in my left wouldn't go down. After mentioning it to my ps, who is in another state by Skype, I have developed the start of capsular contracture! Nothing my doctor did wrong, but I have been so out of wack since having then placed. Same exact feelings your having! Shortness of breathe, fatigue, pain, feeling self conscious about them. Etc... Because they are swollen and painful I developed also elevated inflammation when I went to get a test done. My ps still wants me to do an extra massage and take vitamin e for a few more months, and said that in most cases it settles. I only wanted a lift but ps said I would get a nice full look with implants, so i did it. Now I'm so unhappy with them. The pain, not feeling myself and yes even not being able to do excercises and running like I used too!
My biggest worry is going back into sx to have these removed only after 3 months. I don't take anesthesia very well. I do hear that local anesthesia can be done instead if general. I don't know what to do! :(

My husband is now on board :) I feel like explant and learning to love myself is the only thing that will make me feel better! I'm prob gonna do local because of the money, but we'll see!

I am in the same boat. I had 32As before and now I'm at a full c and I've just always hated them. I cover up more now. I am going to get them taken out ASAP. First I wanted to just get a smaller implant but now I just want to be natural no matter my size. Thanks for the post.

Yea, I completely understand! I'll probably always be envious of big boobs, but I'd rather that than feel fake with these silicone balls under my boobs!

I felt the same as you! I had so many complications on top of all those feelings. I explanted on 7/8 after 9 months of having them. I physically feel better but when i look at them i am a little disappointed. I know i am only a few days post op and i am hoping they will start to fluff up more. Even after all that i do not regret my explant. Good luck and do what's best for you not anyone else. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.

Sorry about your complications! Good for you having them removed though! Did you do local or general anesthesia?

General i was glad to get some sleep lol. I dont think i slept much the few days before the explant.

I explanted (in Birmingham) in October after 12 years with silicone implants. Best thing ever! I looked flat and deflated for a couple of months. I now look better than I could have imagined. I am small all over so a good B suits me well. Good luck! I think you will be pleased.

Thanks for sharing I feel the same way.... However in my case I was going through extreme emotional drama...I jus wanted to feel beautiful n confident.. n decided after sacrificing savings on someone else... That this time wen id saved up money again id do it. I impulsively decided to finally do something for myself.., but I realized I was perfect without them... I didn try different bras or even try to beautify or love my natural breasts.. I am not even 3 weeks postop n I want them out... i feel i made a mistake in gtn them in the first place!!! People r going to think I am crazy, I feel lik I'm crazy thinkn go the money wasted

I've been researching explant since 2 months post op, so you're not alone, and definitely not crazy! I feel you, and to hell with what everyone thinks! Most important opinion is your own :) it's just money! That's what I keep reminding myself of!

Explant Consult

Tno
Well I had my consult today, and my Dr was very supportive and said I was not the first patient that just didn't like the way they feel in my body. I wish I had brought a list of questions, because I forgot to ask about drains. The nurse said they would remove the capsules, so I'm sure I'll need drains. The cost for removal and a benelli lift is $1,500. Since I had my areolas reduced with the first surgery, he will have to remove some scar tissue, and he will take some excess skin while he's there ;) So now I just have to get it in my head that I am beautiful without breast implants, and get my money together. I should have my explant surgery in September!

I'll upload before and after pics in a few!

Before and after pics. I definitely remember why I wanted implants. In the before pictures, my milk hadn't dried up on the right side, so it was a good bit bigger than the left. I'm hoping with the benelli lift (areola reduction) will tighten up the loose skin, and I will look much better with small perky boobs. I know that I'll feel better. I hope!
