Frustrated. If You Want to Spend Thousands of Dollars Permanently Damaging Your Skin Barrier..
$3,000
I am so frustrated and disappointed. I really thought Dr. Rahimi was a trustworthy and careful doctor.
I spent thousands of dollars just to make my scars worse.
I came there with scars and asked about another recent barely noticeable scratch on my face that he treated along with my primary concerns. He claimed it was not too soon to treat, and did mixto laser resurfacing on all the scratches. I believe it completely destroyed my skin barrier. Maybe broken capillaries. The scratch on my face that was barely noticeable is now clearly seen every time I look in the mirror. Knowing my skin, I wasn’t too worried about this scratch healing but trusted his expertise and decided it wouldn’t hurt to have treated. Now it still may not be significant to others, but this is my skin for the rest of my life, and it will never be completely clear again.
I really wanted to write a good review because I don’t think Dr. Rahimi is a bad person. Dr. Rahimi is kind and welcoming, so I thought I could trust his expertise. But it is not worth it. I am so saddened by my experience. I thought he could help me deal with removing signs of an experience I find to be traumatic and wanted to forget, only to have them worsened.
TLDR: None of my scars are better and the areas I thought would heal on their own are now permanent and worse.
