1 week Post 3rd treatment for top half

Just an update. Pretty considerable breakup occuring everywhere and lots of Browning. The 'donut effect' is fully visible, where the ink kind of disappears in little dots. It's still very strange to me how it's fading but it certainly is working.. They upped the power on the laser this time (to 1 maybe?). I'm also no longer using the numbing cream. For me it's not worth the hassle, but it's t does hurt like hell.. after the third treatment next month on the under side, the remainder of the treatments will be on the whole piece at once, split up every 8 weeks. I've posted a few pictures so you can view the progress.

Post 4x (2x for underside/monkey)

Didn't do the numbing cream this time to see what it's like. It hurt enough where I couldn't carry on conversation with the technician. I think the numbing cream probably takes 15-20% off of the removal, so if you aren't good with pain then certainly use it..
This post is mainly to display the swelling and some progress on these pieces since the last post. At this point I'm about 20% through their expected sessions to 'complete removal'.

2 weeks post 2x on upper half

Seeing some break up in nee places. Again, small changes but changes nonetheless. Go in for the second treatment on the under half in a couple weeks. Here are some up close pics of fading. The text on the wrist where it was very shallow is turning light brown in some spots and breaking up in a weird way. The tech suggested a theory about how ink breaks up; larger portions of ink (like a large black square) will start to 'erase little holes' from the outside in, while smaller portions will do the opposite. It looks like that is what's kind of going on, but whatever it's working.
