I had my second Pixel treatment done at the highest level (1000) they said on Thursday afternoon. This time was a little bit more painful than the first time. I wonder if it had something to do with the level? They did apply a numbing cream prior. Also, they pixelated more on the areas where their are deeper scars first and then went over the whole face in vertical and horizontal directions 7X7 to create the grids all over. This time round my face had dried up faster and the burning sensation lasted only the first day. Also, the grids appear to be darker this time too. My face started to peel this morning (2 in half days after treatment!). Which I'm so happy about. I'm having a difficult time not peeling it off myself, especially now that it has already started to peel! I'm using a gentle cleanser and vitamin E cream twice a day. In terms of healing, I notice it is faster this time. Which I'm very pleased about. I have to go to work on Monday so I'm hoping that most of it peels of tomorrow! Also, today I applied some mineral makeup and it covered quite well, but not nearly the coverage that my face needed to look good :)

So today I am on day 5. Well 4 and a half. Its Friday morning and I had my first treatment done on Monday afternoon. The redness and burning is all gone. This feeling left on Tuesday afternoon. My face has little brown dots all over and it feels like sandpaper. It also has grid like squares all over. Its almost darker on the spots where scarring originally is. However, I'm pleased to see that my face is starting to finally peel under my chin and a little bit around my nose. The cheeks and forehead have yet to peel and I have to go to work on Moday!!!! Also yesterday I applied some mineral make up for the first time. Very lightly and it didntr really cover too well. My friend said you couldn't notice anything really unless u looked closely and felt it too. I think it looks horrendous!!!! It was nightime, so that could explain why too. Anyhow, the places where it has peeled feels really soft. Especially because in comparison to where it hasn't peeled its exra rough. So I can't really determine if its from the treatment yet. Also, I'm continuing to apply vitamin E from jamison to my face to keep it hydrated. I'm so tempted to scratch it off now that it has started to peel slowely but I know I should let the skin do that itslef naturally!!! Do not touch ur face and force it. Its strange tho, all this pain and I see all my scarring still. Nothing seems different. Is this normal? Or will I see an improvment when all the brown spots peel off? Need some advise prontoooooo!

I just had my first Pixel treatment done today for acne scarring. I have many dark red/brown spots on my cheeks and chin from acne. It felt like an elastic band being hit on my face and little dots being poked into the skin. They used a cooling a machine while doing the treatment to reduce the burning sensation, which really helped. At first I didn't experience any burning. After about 5 minutes the burning kicked in. It feels like a severe sunburn on the skin. It was tolerable though.
Currently, my face is really red and the burning has reduced already. They advised me to use polysporin for the next two days and a moisturizer. They also said to ensure that the skin is well hydrated at all times. I'm hoping to see an improvement soon!
I am scheduled to go for another treatment in 1 month. They said that you need to be fully healed before another treatment. They did say that 1 treatment wont show much of an improvement, but after 3 I should notice more. However, after 1 treatment they said that I'll notice more of a glow on the skin as the old skin begins to shed after 1 week. I really hope that after all the downtime I notice something different.
