Disappointed in Bedside Manners! - Mississauga, ON

The clinic was beautiful and the staff were very professional. I was however very disappointed with Dr. Lista. I found him to be arrogant and rude. It took me quite some time to make my decision of having a breast lift. I choose Dr. Lista because of his procedure which left minimal scaring and quicker recovery. I was not completely satisfied surgery the stitching around one of my Areola was choppy and the nipple was not centred further more leaving some of my areole behind so they looked like tear drops. When asked to have them corrected he was quite annoyed although he did correct it. My overall experience was not pleasant, I definitely would not recommend him based on my experience. I'm now considering a tummy tuck and I will not rush into it without finding a doctor who will take his time answering my question and addressing my concerns without making me feel rushed or as if I'm annoying him. After all your investing a lot of time and money and you want to make sure your going to be satisfied with the whole procedure.

I've really enjoy reading about your journeys they truly inspire, encourage and also educate me in what to expect during this process. That is why I felt I had to share my story hopefully it will inspire someone who has a similar story. I'm a young and active 49 (at least in my mind lol!) 5'7" and weigh 138lbs. I gave birth to 3 boys all weighing over 9lbs and one c-section. I love my boys but hate the tummy that I was left with. I've been working out on an average of 3 times a week for the last 9 yrs everything from boot camp to spinning classes and I still have tummy that looks like I'm at least 3 months pregnant. I've been contemplating having a tummy tuck for the last 10 yrs, it finally got to the point where my husband told me to either do it or put it to rest. I guess he got tired of me complaining lol!, but he also saw how hard I worked and thought I should have had better results. Luckily he has always supported me either way. My mother on the other hand has always made me feel guilty typical for an Italian mother lol! After many hours of research and fed up of buying loose clothes to cover up my mid section I decided to have a TT and what the heck I added the BL to look better in clothes. I finally want to wear a dress where the pump should be, on the back side not the front! I'm excited to say I booked my surgery on June 25 with Dr Bray he was very companionate and patient answering all my questions and concerns. Paulette has been wonderful guiding me throughout this process, I believe I've made the right decision in choosing Dr Bray and his staff. Having said that, it doesn't mean that I'm not still very nervous about the surgery, recovery and over all outcome. I'm hoping my only regret would be I wish I've done it sooner. The thought of shopping for new clothes and hopefully having a mid section that matches my legs keeps me excited. :) I wish all you ladies out there the best of luck who are or thinking of having a TT or MM to take your time do your homework but maybe don't wait 10 yrs you deserve it.
