I am on my way in just a few short days to meet Dr Lista for breast augmentation. I have had gastric by pass 6 years ago and maintainEd a weight of 125lbs. I'm 46 years old and have wanted to do this for along time. Anyone had the bypass and then done augmentation. I'd love to here from you. Or if you used Dr Lista.

I had my BA with Dr Lista in December.. the entire process is documented on my review so you are welcome to take a peek :) I had consultations and researched the top plastic surgeons in the GTA. I had a fantastic experience with his clinic and he is quite incredible with his results and scars.. He is a busy guy, but worth it to get his expertise. Good luck at your consult!! Let me know how it went!! :)

I used Dr Lista for BA 7 years ago and you are in good hands. Before surgery I kept asking what I will feel like after as I was just trying to mentally prepare. If you have had children and gotten swollen or engorged breasts after baby that is what I thought it felt like. He is amazing. Your scars will probably be in your armpits and won't show once healed and your breasts will look and feel fantastic. I think he is the best and everyone else I know that used him would agree. And everyday gets better and better in all ways. Swelling will go down so don't even worry if you think they are too big. And I loved that first week of doing nothing. I found it very relaxing. So good luck and enjoy your new boobies

You will need some help the first couple days, Lista wants a week of rest, no driving no cleaning, work etc but you aren't bed ridden. I relaxed on the couch and watched movies with my kids. How old are your kids?

pyjamas that button up the front with long pants, robe, slippers. Baby soap (or a mild soap) dry shampoo to freshen your hair ( you cant shower until they say its ok) very comfy, loose pants, tops. Tylenol extra strength, lots of heathy easy snacks, juice, ( prune juice) water bottle with a straw. Have lots of pillows to prop yourself up, clean bedding etc.. Just have everything done around the house so you can just rest and relax the first week.. You will go back the next day after surgery, then a week later, 2 weeks, 1 month, 6 weeks etc.. i was feeling good by day 3, but Dr L wants nothing but rest the first week. ( lots of netflix) Good Luck!! so exciting!

Yay!! Don't worry, you are in good hands with Dr Lista and his team!! The pain was manageable and you will have a pain pump that freezes the area for the first 24 hours. This will be removed the next day when you go back.. You are also given some meds for pain to go home. I ended up only taking the pain med day 2 just to sleep. I switched to tylenol extra strength and that was sufficient for me.. It isnt a bad pain, just feels tight with pressure. it's all worth it! I love my new boobs and had a great experience with Dr Lista, I'm sure you'll do just fine!! It will be over before you know it, and you'll wake up with boobs :) Good Luck!! Keep me posted on how it goes!!
