24 day post op photos

Almost 4 weeks Post-Op

So I was sure I posted a two week update but I don't see it here... I'll have to investigate that. After my last update I continued to feel incrementally better each day and felt really good at the 12-13 day mark - taking very little medication for pain. Two week follow up appointment went well. I was excited to be given the green light to start sleeping on my side and front. Surprisingly though I was having great sleeps on my back and I've never been a back sleeper. After three weeks I really felt my breasts begin to soften. I'm pretty happy with the size and shape although maybe they're a little smaller than I thought they would be but considering most have no idea how things will turn out going into this I think I basically nailed it. I didn't want anyone to notice and so far I think I'm pulling it off. But at the same time I am really enjoying the fullness and to me I think they can look quite large at times - like in a string bikini. I'll see about posting some pics soon dressed in clothes to demonstrate. I've had some concerns about my left armpit incision site. It's been very puffy and buldging since surgery and while it is going down slowly there is a lot of scar tissue going on in there. I have other issues with my left breast that I'm a little worried about. It's always had a lot more pain and I (and sadly my husband) can feel my implant. It crinkles and pops right at the inferior medial periphery. When I push my breasts together my implant looks a tad square in this spot. It's tough to accept when you don't see/feel perfection but I'm trying to not get too disappointed. I think overall I'm experiencing a fairly smooth recovery. Fingers crossed all or at least some of these issues resolve over time. I also wanted to mention that I'm feeling really comfortable with my breast. Other than a few of my small coats not really closing any more I don't feel they get in the way, they don't feel awkward when holding my little kids close to me - they feel like a natural part of me already. I'm still adjusting to them but I was really worried I would feel really uncomfortable or it would be super obvious but it's been the opposite. I'm looking forward to wearing bras again though, let me tell you!! Hoping they don't make me look any bigger - unless of course that's what I'm going for. I do have pics for this post but the app is not properly accessing my camera - it's very strange. I'll have to try another time.

Fairly relaxed fellow, pleasant, not very talkative- to the point. I left my Consult wishing he'd given me more of his opinion around sizing for me and spent more time with me looking at pics of what I like for myself ("wish boobs"). But, I also trust that he'll do what he always does based in his best judgement. Looking forward to great results.
