Back to work & Question..
Ive been back to work for a couple of days and ill be honest its been a little tought! Not feeling any severe pain, just discomfort because of the band I have to wear until my next appointment on the 30th. Cant wait until I can take it off. Bruising is gone completely but it still feels tender around my under arms and under boob area. Ive also started sleeping on my side as of two nights ago, it hurts more so on the right side than the left.
This is a question for anyone who has had arm pit incisions! How long did it take for the scars to start going down? Mine are slowly going down everyday but still look bunched up, I know its normal but just wondering how long it could possibly take.

Day 4
Slowly but surely starting to soften up already! Left side more so than the right. Experiencing some numbness on the right side still, along the side and underboob. Over all feeling a lot better, despite the bruising and tightness. I'm really starting to hate the band I have to wear, luckily I have to wash it everyday so it gives me some breathing room for a little bit. Getting very eager for them to start fluffing out and softening up but I know Its just the beginning!!
1 day post-op
I have boobs!!! My surgery was yesterday afternoon and I was out of recovery by around 5pm. Yesterday felt like a breeze, aside from feeling tight and sleepy there was really no pain. Today however I'm experiencing more pain, but from past surgery experience I've found the second day to be the worst. That being said its nothing unbearable! The incisions under my arms look way worse than they feel and the nurse today said they look completely normal. Getting drains out today was a little uncomfortable as well but it only took a couple of minutes. I've felt no nausea whatsoever, but bruising has started under my right arm pit and around my boobs - I've been given medication for this. Not much else to update on yet, tomorrow I'm allowed to shower and remove the bandages for good to clean my under arms. I have to keep the band on for a week and wash it every day. The girls are feeling extremely swollen and a little numb but then again it's only the first full day of recovery! Hopefully I'll start feeling like myself soon!

I had one meeting with Dr. Lista and everything went great. Him and the woman who fitted (sorry dont remember her name) me were both extremely friendly and helpful. He knew exactly what I wanted without me having to tell him (thats when I knew it was meant to be haha). Will post an update when I have my second consultation/booking day!
