follow my BA journey on instagram @kaitsnewgirls (BA accounts only) **im now one month PO**

HEY EVERYONE! sorry i havent been on here in a while, but heres what happened! so on the day of surgery i arrived at the clinic at 10:30am, had my surgery at 12:30 and was discharged from the clinic at 3:20pm. everything on the day of surgery went super well, general anesthesia was good to me! yay. so i ended up getting 425cc mentor smooth silicone HP. i had a pain pouch around my waist which delivered local anesthetic to my breast pocket and had one drain coming out of each armpit and was wearing the surgical strap. on PO day 1 (november 13 the day after surgery) i returned to the clinic at 10:30am so they could remove the drains and pain pack. The nurse noticed i had a big bruise on my right collarbone shoulder armpit area. Dr lista came in and told me that he was going to take me back into the OR, put me to sleep and drain the blood. i had a HETAMOMA (idk how you spell that). I had to wait until all of their surgeries for that day were done to get the OR free. I only had to wait till 12ish, and was out of the clinic by 3:30. I had one drain coming out of my right armpit where they drained the blood. i was not expecting that long of a day the the clinic because the post op appointment was originally only supposed to take 5 mins!... Dr lista was amazing because he cares about the patient and how they are recovering. At other PS clinics, they need payments if you require additional surgery. Dr lista coveres any complications for life!! the only time you ever need to pay again is if you want a bigger implant size. my recovery was super good, i didnt have to take ANY PAIN PILLS :D i only took arnica pills for swelling, stool softeners and anti inflammatories. i went back to the clinic PO day 2 to remove the drain. and boy was that the wierdest feeling ever!! I was instructed to shower (FINALLY - after 2 days of being dirty!) and to wash my incisions 4 times a day and apply polysporin.Everything was looking good, i finally did a number 2 on PO day 5! at my 1 week PO appointment, i was cleared to massage my breasts and incisions. At my 2 week appointment I was told i looked amazing :) my breasts were softening up nicely. i was instructed to keep massaging, i could finally sleep on my tummy (to soften up my breasts more), i didnt have to wear the surgical strap 24/7 anymore...i only had to wear the strap at night for 2 more weeks, i could finally start using scar treatment, and in 2 weeks i could start wearing any bras :D yay. So now im at my 4 week PO mark, ive been using scar fade ointment and silicone scar sheets. Im also wearing bras - i bought the perfect comfort demi push up bra from Victoria Secret in a 34DD (i was wearing a 32C or 34B pre op)!!! YAY! i still need to Drop and fluff but im super excited about my progress. my next post op appt with dr lista is on January 16.

Hello. I really hope you are doing very well. I'm sorry to bother you but i have to ask you 3 things, important things. i would be glad if you would like to answer me. first: Did the surgeon tell you that it was better to use saline instead mentor hp considering your young age? second: Did the surgeons tell you that asians heal from scars in a very different way respect white girl (caucasian), i mean with bigger scar tissues? third: Did the surgeons tell you that is not very professional to execute a standard procedure for caucasian women on asian women? that means they do not respect the real shape of your breast and the proportions of your body. If you look on the net you will find specialized surgeons in giving new "asian breasts" to asian women. i sadly see that in american doctors sell products instead to think about the best for their patients (yesterday), customers (today). Please don't blame me for this questions and for the sentences, i really care more about a person like you than a professional board or biomedical companies. Best wishes, C.
hey Claudia1980, well my surgeon discussed with my the pros and cons of each saline and silicone and we both agreed that silicone was best. I also felt more comfortable with it, because of less rippling, and less immediate deflation if it ruptures. I live in Canada so we dont have restrictions on age and what type of implant you can get. (i think in the states its under 21 cant get silicone for most PS) With regards to your second question, yes the surgeon i went with told me that asians (no to be generalizing because some dont heal bad) tend to heal with darker sometimes keloided scars. He said that the best way to conceal the scar is in the armpit. i didnt want a scar on my breast anyway. and in response to your last question about sizing for asians....Before my BA i did a lot of research on asian breast augmentation. I find that a lot of surgeons think that ALL asian women are very petit and have small bodies. That isn't the case for me, being 5'7 and 130lbs, i tower over a lot of girls i know lol. The surgeons who i went to see asked me what look i was going for, i told them natural. My surgeon measured my BWD and told me my range of implants. I knew i wanted to go with his biggest recommended size because i didnt want boob greed. Now if i was shorted and weighed less and was petit, i would have probably gone for a lower amount of cc's. I am totally in love with my new additions, and i would be super upset if i went any smaller :) if you have any more questions, dont hesitate to ask :)
You are great girl! you spent so much time to collect the best informations for your health and shape that i'm impressed. Happy for you and happy that your surgeon gave you all the answers you needed. you are the living demonstration that when you want a new breast, that is a real surgery, with cons, you have to walk on the point of your feet. the "trend" is to rush to the first doctor and ask for the biggest volume possible, instead to go for 7!! doctors in a row to ask for suggestions. the only thing is about your scars. Did the doctor used Laparoscopy as technique? cause i looked at very large scars (better than on the boobs for sure). with the laparoscopy you will have just two tiny, quite invisible hole that the doctor will close. Practically they will disappear. Have a great healing and the best result! In the end
Thanks for you time and continue to help other people. here inside every suggestion is gold. A kiss, C.
aww thanks so much :) ...yeah i feel that its best to get many opinions, especially since its an expensive procedure as well. On the contrary, some girls get many different opinions so going to too many surgeons could leave one confused! lol. and i dont believe he used laparoscopy, because silicone implants come pre filled so he cut me open and used the keller funnel to insert the implant. My incisions are around 4cm if that helps, i think he used a scalpel to open the incision. i also posted photos of my incisions today too :)
Thanks a lot. Very kind.
