PO day 1, did not feel well at all! Blood pressure very low, nausea, not feeling like eating... Did some leg and breathing exercises and after about 5 hours finally felt much better. Also eating better.

PO day 2, feeling good, saw Dr. K today, swollen as expected, but 1st drain out today... I have to take it much slower, trying to do do much, very tired. Slept this afternoon for 3,4 hours, feeling much better. Next appointment on Monday.

I had tummy and lipo six years ago. It was the best thing I ever did. I started as a dress size 12. Had the tummy tuck and lipo to lose the love handles and gain some wrist. I went on to lose forty pounds just dieting. No exercise. Now a size 4. Probably I'll go back and do a little more lipo around mid wrist. Cut my hair short and sassy. Ppl say am about 37 years old, when an 56. Hope you happy. It's so nice to do something for self. Best of luck.

Hi all well it's been a while since I've been on here. I have developed an umbilical hernia! "Sad face". My PS will fix it and do liposuction on my upper and lower abdominal as well as a bit of scar revision in March. Other than that, all is going well.

I still experience some tightness on occasion, it comes out of no where, stays for a couple of hours, then poof, gone...

Hi Dot, thanks for the note. I reviewed your post and saw that your original surgery date was postponed. Have you been able to get back on your plan for surgery? It's so great that you've lost the weight. I know it's hard for some of us to 'do' for ourselves. We need to take care of ourselves too. And it really okay to accept yourself as you are if your decision is not to do the surgery too. I have to tell you, it was a really tough surgery for me. I read where some of these girls are back to work in a few weeks and I am amazed. Well, take care and I'll check back in a while.

Well, there's still a ways to go... tummy still tightening up and itchiness on scar and lipo areas. Feeling good about the process, although upper tummy still larger than I was hoping. Have not started any an exercises, still sore when pulling up and tender to pressure/heavy touch. My scar is dark, looks wider than it seemed early on; ps wasn't too pleased about how it looks but says to continue the silicone bandaid on it. Stressing over getting things ready to celebrate my 65th bd, going camping again, and a 3 week trip to Italy in late August. Ah well! Happy healing friends!

Did he LIPO any from upper tummy area?
July 27, 2016
No lipo in upper tummy at all. Just near the ends if the incision. Talking to him about doing some on upper at the same time he does the 'fine tuning' lipo and a bit of scar correction. Still swelling and sore so a few more months of healing will be good for me before I decide.
