Breast Reduction After 150 Lb Weight Loss 45 yo F- Mission Viejo, CA

Dr Kim is nothing short of a miracle worker. I was referred to him by a nurse/friend who gave glowing reports of Dr Kim for her breast revision. I interviewed many Dr's to evaluate my severely deformed deflated breasts. I always had extremely large pedulous breasts since puberty and spent my entire life unhappy with my appearance and developed deep insecurities along with severe neck/back pain, as well. Consulted many Dr's over the years but was always disappointed that they would have to do a free nipple graft and I would lose all sensitivity. Eventually I started gaining weight due to depression and having 3 children and was not a candidate until I got under a certain bmi. Through counseling and dilligence lost 150 lbs but now my breasts were worse than ever. I don't have before pics because I could not bear to look in a mirror. At their largest, my breasts were a 44 J ...after losing weight a 36H but mostly excess skin and literally hung down below my belly button. I have a HMO that would have covered the procedure but I was not confident in their drs who said to deem it medically necessary would probably bring me down to a b cup and I would absolutely lose all nipple sensitivity. I wanted to maintain volume. After identifying with large breasts my whole life, and still being large framed, I could not mentally handle such a change. I consulted other private surgeons who said they could reduce me to the d/dd that I wanted but still would need to do the free nipple graft due to the extreme length and distance from where they should be. DR Kim is the only Dr who said he thought he could do it. He would reduce/lift my breasts but keep the nipple attached so that I could still maintain sensation. For the first time I was hopeful. That combined with his warm, sympathetic demeanor made him the clear choice. The procedure was effortless and recovery easy compared to other surgeries I've had. Very little pain, just mild discomfort and was off pain killers by the end of the week. I am absolutely thrilled with the results! He far exceeded my expectations in both cosmetic results and the fact that i have full sensitivity. I cannot express my gratitude enough for what Dr Kim has given me. For the first time in my life I can look in the mirror and actually like my reflection. I did this for no one but me. I spent years in therapy working on building my self esteem and leaving behind the things and people that no longer served me but this was the last piece I needed to feel good about me. I now feel whole and complete. This was so much more than "cosmetic" surgery for me. Dr Kim is brilliant and what he did for me has already changed my life and I am just one month out. I will forever be grateful. I whole-heartedly recommend him for your surgery needs and will refer all my friends.

I wanted to add a photo before my weight loss so you can imagine how badly my skin looked after losing 150 lbs (through low carb eating and daily exercise). Someday I still hope to save enough to get the thigh lift. But even if I can't, I can now die happy. :)
So so happy with my new breasts. That meant everything. :)
