Upper Blepharoplasty & Ptosis Correction - 3 Month Update

It's been three months post-op and I couldn't be happier with the results. They look so natural. The incisions/scars are slowly healing.

I've done a lot of research throughout the years...

I've done a lot of research throughout the years and have always leaned towards Dr. Ho and I'm so glad I chose her to be my surgeon. The entire process went smoothly and she was very professional and very thorough every step of the way. And most of all, she did an AMAZING job on my eyes.
I opted for upper blepharoplasty and ptosis correction. I've always had heavier, thicker and droopy eyelids. I would always raise my eyebrows so that I can see better but it got to the point that I developed premature wrinkles on my forehead and headache through the day. I had eyelids but they were covered by my eyelids. My left eye was actually heavier than my right which you can clearly see in my 'before' picture.
Dr. Ho took her time to examine my eyes and suggested what she thought would look best. After she did her markings, I was given a shot to relax me. We then went into the operating room and everything was a blur after that. I don't remember when they gave me the local anesthesia but I was still kind of aware of my surroundings. Dr. Ho would ask me to open and close my eyes several times during surgery. The surgery took a little over an hour. After surgery, I was given after-care instructions and was sent on my way home. I had my stitches removed 7 days later.
Everything went smoothly. The only pain I felt was about an hour after surgery but a tylenol took care of that. I heeded the doctor's advice and iced my eyes as often as I can, slept with my head elevated, stayed away from salty foods and ate LOTS of fresh pineapple. I believe the pineapples helped de-swell my eyes a lot.
It's been a month post op and my eyes came out exactly how I wanted them. I don't need to raise my eyebrows to see better anymore. Some days they are more swollen than others depending on what I eat. I was told that it would take at least 6 months for the eyes to fully heal. The incision line is still red and my eyes are still a little swollen (my left more than my right) but I am in love with the results. My family, friends and fiance think she did an amazing job as well.
Overall, I have no regrets choosing Dr. Ho and I would recommend her to anyone that is considering Asian eyelid surgery.
