miraDry today - swelling, bruising but felt nothing
UPDATED FROM starburn24

SO WORTH IT
WORTH IT$1,450
I am 3 weeks out from my Miradry.
I did have a purge (as expected) about 7 days later. I had one day of being slightly stinky, one day of being really stinky, and then a third day of being slightly stinky.
I have not worn deodorant at all - no smell other than that purge. EVER. I don't get moist or sweat at all. My hair seems to not be growing.
I still am lumpy and bumpy and a bit tender in there. Visually you can't tell anything happened, but it's not back to normal.
This treatment!! I'm so happy. I would recommend this to anyone.

Had my Miradry Today - Not As Scary As I Thought!
Had my Miradry treatment today. I was pretty scared going in about the needles for numbing and about the treatment itself hurting, but honestly I cracked a joke during it that I could be getting a facial at the same time because I didn't feel anything.
The numbing was the worst part but it was like a 1 or 2 on the pain scale, not a big deal in the slightest and over really quickly. The procedure itself I felt literally nothing. Other than it being a bit awkward having someone in my pits it was fine.
Because of all the liquid they inject, my pits are swollen, and I have a small amount of bruising from the suction on one side, but other than the ibuprofen I took earlier I have not taken any more pain medicine and I've been using ice packs but not frequently (haven't felt the need to do the 20 minutes on 20 minutes off my provider recommended). Maybe it'll hurt more tomorrow but as far as today goes I'm feeling OK.
Honestly if I knew it would be so low key I would have been less scared and would have done it a lot sooner.
We'll see how the weekend goes. It sounded like the first 48-72 hours were usually the hardest for recovery.
