No More Sweat!!! But Painful Treatment.

The treatment does what it promises! I have no more sweating from my underarms. I would say it is a 90% reduction and the results are instant. I am approx. 2.5 weeks post treatment.

However it was an extremely painful procedure, even with local anaesthetic. The nurse explained it was due to an arm nerve that runs through the armpit that was unfortunately in the firing zone. It did not damage the nerve however it could not be numbed. Everyone is different and not everyone will have the nerve running specifically through the treatment area but there is no way to know until you try it.

The pain varies depending on location, but at its worse, it was really a 9/10. I cried and had to take a few breaks. I am generally very good with pain too. It is a sharp, burning pain.

The nurse, Louise, was amazing while I was in pain. She was so patient and supportive while helping me calm down. She was an absolute angel.

The first night I was in a lot of pain when the anaesthetic wore off, but mild painkiller took the edge off. The day after treatment there was no pain.

Majority of swelling was gone 3 to 4 days later, as was the bruising. The bruising was very minimal- the photos show a couple of hours after the treatment and it never worsened. I don't know if this is universal however for my treatment, with the local anaesthetic, I was also treated with adrenaline, which the nurse explained was for the bruising.

Now, 2.5 weeks later, there are some slight lumps which can only be detected by touch and do not interfere with any normal activity. I do have some numbness in the armpits, however that doesn't interfere either.

Overall,

- Very happy with the results.

- Was not prepared for the pain.

- Easy, quick recovery.

- Not a bad price at $2600(AUD).
