Miradry Procedure

For years I've had problems with sweating and underarm odor. I tried several expensive deodorants and nothing worked. A few months ago I searched online for underarm sweating like I normally do and found several reviews on Miradry. Everything seemed legit and there were no bad reviews so I decided to call around for the cheapest price. I found a location in Atlanta Ga for $1800 which is 3 hours from me. There were cheaper locations such as Elpaso Tx for $1250 and Roanoke VA for $1500 but they were too far from me. Today I had my first treatment in Atlanta Ga. The staff was very friendly. The lady who did my procedure made me feel very comfortable and they even had a tv in the room and I watched zootopia on Netflix. I started my procedure at 9:30am February 14 and we finished at 11:30am. It was not painful at all. The first thing they did was put a temporary tattoo over my armpit and then she stuck me 5 times on each arm will a small needle that didn’t hurt all I felt was a little pinch. Next, she stuck me at least 15-20 times in each arm with a larger and longer needle :). After she stuck me the first time with the larger needle I was numb. She then numb both sides of my arm and after she was done she put the laser on at least 19 spots under my armpit. I really didn’t count all the spots but I was looking at the computer screen as she was doing it and it was quite a few spot to cover. Some spots under my arm she had to be numb again because I felt the heat and it was very hot. But, some spots I was able to tolerate the heat, it was very hot. After she completed both arms I was free to go. On the way home, my ice packs melted and I had about two more hours to go before I reached my destination. I started feeling a little discomfort, my skin was burning. It was not hurting bad but I can feel that there was going to be some serious pain coming on if I didn’t find an ice pack. Just know, ice packs are going to become your best friend. I've been wearing an ice pack all day. In between changing those my arms hurt very badly. But as soon as you put ice back under your arms it relieves some of the pain. Its 11:45pm and I’ve notice that my underarms have gotten bigger throughout the night. My arms are swollen like your face would be after the dentist numbs your gums before you get your teeth pulled. I will give an update in a few days on how the swelling is going. The nurse told me it can take anywhere between 48 hours to 2 weeks for the swelling and pain to go away. If you’re having sweating problems I would totally recommend Miradry. I did not use any deodorant today and I'm actually surprised that I don’t smell myself for once. :)
