MiraDry day two
ORIGINAL POST

Within the last couple of years the sweat under my arms has increased. It wasn't horrible, like I wasn't soaking through shirts but I notice some sweat like a couple of hours and horrible smell. I was thinking about Botox but didn't like that I would have to come back every 3-6 months. After watching videos and and reading reviews I decided to go with Miradry because my sweating isn't horrible I thought I would only need one session. I had a very quick consultation and booked my session a week later. Once I was there we took pictures of my underarms and was told to sign an ipad. Come to think about I wasn't brief over what I signed. Also looking into others reviews, I never told them where I sweat more, nor how bad my sweating was, nor what setting they were using as I've seen with others reviews( they could've had a one setting machine, idk). The numbing of the underarm wasn't that bad but with the thicker skin I could really feel it, it's like getting a "flu" shot like 10 times under each arm. Once the treatment started it was pretty numb so I didn't feel much but a few times I did feel the heat from the machine at one point a small amount of saline. The other times the heat was over pretty fast so no more was added. I was given ice packs for both arms, told to take ibuprofen 600 every 4 hours, and to ice on and off, I was told about the update in 3 months to see if a second treatment is needed. And went to pay it was on promotion so I paid $1400. As I was in the car going home I was checking under my arms, my ice pack fell and I didn't want to put back under there because I was warned about bacteria and to keep my underarms clean but looking in the mirror I notice some sweat, I'm hoping it's apart of swelling and goes away. My underarms were pretty swollen, still are. I can't put my arms down so it was so very uncomfortable sleeping. This is only day two. I'll update later about the remainder of my healing.
