Got Miradry for Odor

Now that some time has passed, I don’t think my 2nd Miradry treatment was effective or at least as effective as the first. As you can see my hair has grown back in the areas that I got treated and I am still having odor there as well. I also wanted to mention that during the healing process of this treatment I developed 2 little wounds in my left armpit. Thankfully they weren’t serious and healed pretty quickly, but I just want to advise people to be careful during their treatment & healing process. I’m not sure if I would personally recommend this as a cure for odor. It has decreased my sweat and odor a significant amount but it is still there. I’m not sure if it’s because my 2nd treatment was faulty or because the rest of my sweat/odor glands run too deep to be treated, but it seems like my 2nd treatment did pretty much nothing. If you are looking for something to stop your sweat, this could be for you but if you are looking to get rid of odor, be advised that this may not be the perfect solution.

Can you describe what it’s like

it is strange odor not a sweat smell of course. I call it miradry odor. If I don't wear deodorant I can smell it even directly after shower. It seems permanent. I noticed a permanent darker very tiny lines after Miradey is it burnt I am not sure. I tried every thing even botox. Before miradry I sweat normaly without odd smell but because of hot weather I thought it would be a good idea I did one session with the highest level 5 and went allergic from the numbing injections during that session. I feel some damage was made under the skin causing that

Thank you for sharing! What was your allergic reaction like to the numbing injections?

Day #3

My swelling has decreased a lot. There is virtually no pain at all, only a little soreness when I massage the lumps every now and then. The first night was definitely the worst, but even then I had no difficulty sleeping. My left side also seems to have not much odor so far which I’m hoping stays consistent. So far the healing process has been pretty much the same as the first treatment.

Hows it going now?

Hi I just posted an update!
July 12, 2023
Where did you get the Miradry treatment? Does the lumpiness subside quickly? Thanks!

I just got this done in June and I did not have any lumpiness at all. I think it just depends on the person.

Hello! I got my 2nd Miradry done in Florida. The initial lumpiness doesn’t last long but you may have a couple of lumps once the swelling goes down. I’d say they might last anywhere from a couple of weeks to 1-2 months.

Miradry #2

Today I had my second procedure and so far everything seems normal. I will say though that the pain is definitely worse this time around. I finished my treatment at around 9:30am this morning and the burning/soreness didn’t settle down until I iced for about 12 hours. I am hoping that this means it will be my final treatment. I am very swollen just like last time and will be washing with hibiclens twice a day like I did before. Although I am a little uncomfortable and still have a slight burning sensation I think I’ll be able to sleep okay tonight. I will continue to update as more time passes.
