Miradry
It has been 1 week since I received my first (and hopefully) only treatment of Miradry. The procedure was minimally uncomfortable. The worst part was getting numbed. I just hate needles personally. It took about an hour and a half. When I left they told me to take ibuprofen immediately and use ice. Do not take Tylenol. I prefer Tylenol usually but it doesn’t help with the swelling which is the worst part! Immediately after the procedure I was fine. I resumed my day but I did take the day off to recover. That evening I started swelling so I started back on the ice. So I recommend using ice immediately after and continue even if you don’t start to swell to prevent any that may come up. The swelling continued to get worse and it was the worst all day the next day after treatment. The swelling was not painful but I couldn’t rest my arms by my side so it was extremely uncomfortable. So uncomfortable I started to question if it was worth it. There was a lot of keeping my arms propped up and standing with my hands on my hips in the days following. Recovery was slow but here it is a week later and I have had zero sweat. I am so happy with the results. I am still having some swollen areas but I had a follow up appointment today and they assured me everything looked normal. It was more more uncomfortable than I expected it to be but it seems I had a worse reaction then the typical patient but to have the results I’ve had I think it is 100% worth it.
