2 weeks post procedure
In 2 days it’ll be 2 weeks since I got my first Miradry treatment. Let’s start with the positives:
I have not used deodorant since I got the procedure. Other than minor sweating in my right armpit when the weather is really hot I have been completely dry for the most part. I do expect some sweating to return as my healing continues, but so far id say it’s well over 80% reduction in sweat and absolutely no odor which I suffered from before. I no longer have sweat stains on my shirts which is truly life-changing.
The recovery has been very very tolerable. I still have a single lump in one area on both armpits which is gradually going down each day, and some slight soreness. Other than that things are mostly back to normal, i stretch, massage the area daily, and exercise without any pain or discomfort or feel that anything is off. I have a follow up in the next few days just so the physician can have a look at my healing.
As of today, and considering I expect to fully recover over the next week or two and also expect to retain most of the results, I would say this treatment has been the best decision I made in my life.
I bought my first grey polo shirt yesterday :’)

Miradry - First Day
I did my first Miradry treatment today morning on Level 5, like everyone else due to my excessive underarm sweating which leaves massive sweat patches on my clothes, as well as uncomfortable odor which has affected my quality of life and self confidence for many years.
There was no iodine starch test done or anything to find problematic arears, just straight to business.
The treatment started with some numbing cream which honestly helped a lot, the injections were much more tolerable than I expected. Just the first 2 I felt a slight prick like a flu shot and the rest were fine. It was about 5-6 injections in each armpit.
After the injections on one armpit, the Miradry device was immediately applied and you almost feel nothing other than the suction. I had one concern which was the doctor did 2-3 swipes with the machine on every part on each armpit. Is this normal and standard procedure? The first swipe I didn't feel anything at all, but when she repeated the treatment on the same spot I felt a bit of a heat/burning sensation but nothing too extreme or unbearable. When I asked, she said 1 swipe usually isn't very effective and doing it 2-3 times will have better results.
I felt more burning on the left arm, and I got 1 more injection then was comfortable after that.
About 12 hours later now, and I'm pretty much doing quite well, I was honestly prepared and expecting much worse. I have a large amount of bruising on both arms and have been icing 20 mins on and off continuously but don't have any burning/pain or anything unusual feeling in my armpits and arms thankfully.
Will see how the recovery goes over the next few days and update. I just a bit worried that the device was used multiple times and not sure if that is the safest/right approach. Hopefully it didn't do any excessive damage. Appreciate to hear from anyone who had any similar experience.
