I've had hyperhydrosis since I was a little girl and it always bothered me of course but I finally decided to take action on it! Just to give you some color around my problem, I could be cold but my armpits would still be dripping sweat. I tried everything!! Used prescription based deodorants, carried around armpit wipes to get rid of odor, tried a few topical treatments I found on Amazon and even did 2 rounds of Botox treatments. Nothing worked! Nothing.
This was my last resort and so far I'm thrilled with the results!
The procedure itself is not painless... I think it would of been more bearable had they done numbing cream prior to the injections but unfortunately they go right into injections and there was probably 20-30+ needle pricks per arm which wasn't the best feeling. Once numb, the laser itself follows a grid (as you can see in picture) and takes 20ish minutes per arm. You cannot feel the laser but there are some spots I call 'hot spots' that you can feel extreme warmth. I didn't find this painful but on my left arm, one spot was quite painful but it's over quick. Once I left I spent the next 24 hours icing as much as I can.
I'm on day 5 and still swollen and lumpy. Bruising is subsiding finally. But.. No sweating!! ????????
