Miradry

I’ve suffered with Hyperhidrosis since I was 31 and it was only located in my armpits.
I tried several things to maintain the sweating like prescription deodorants from the doctors(to which I couldn’t handle the constant itching) and then my doctor gave me an oral tablet pro banthiline which helped a little but they would dry me up so much that I couldn’t even eat due to my mouth being so dry.
I got desperate and then I came across Miradry.
I couldn’t believe my luck and the day of my procedure I was in my element and finally a cloud lifted over my head that I would somewhat feel normal around other people and not anxious about sweating.
The procedure was more tolerable then I anticipated and took about an hour.
I was advised of some swelling and discomfort and told to take mild painkillers and apply ice packs to the areas for several days.
My swelling took a week to go down and after 2 weeks I was prettt much back to normal.
10 days after my procedure I went to turkey with temperature of 33degress and I didn’t sweat once.
I was completely gone dry,I couldn’t believe my luck.
Eventually after a few months a little sweating returned but very little but then I noticed I was staring to sweat from my hands and feet, excessive too.
I booked in with a dermatologist who advised me that this is normal as we all need to sweat and that it’s finding somewhere else to come from.
With this my anxiety has got worse as these areas are harder to hide, well hands anyway.
For me personally I wish I had never had Miradry done as Botox worked well for my armpits but was getting to costly.
If you are considering Miradry I would definitely bear in mind the side effects and if you are someone that could deal with sweating in other areas
