Had the lipo surgery this morning. Vaser lipo was used, with one tiny puncture wound. I saw there aren't many reviews here about this area being treated, so I want to share my experience. This unsightly fat hump is not that uncommon. I work in a clothing store and have seen other women who will only wear collared shirts so it won't be noticed. Now I know how they feel.

Not all PSs seem to be comfortable addressing this area. The word is the fat is fibrous, and difficult to remove. The first PS I consulted with was a woman with many years in practice and great patient reviews. She told me the only other patient she tried this on was so disappointed that she refunded her money. And that "it doesn't work". I didn't press her on it, but I knew from other photos and videos here on RS that isn't true.

The second PS, also very experienced, sounded confident he could improve it. He thought the key would be using Vaser to break down the fibrous fat. His staff (nurses etc) all seem impressive, and have worked with him for a long time, which I think speaks well of him too. (Who would be proud to work for a hack? Lol) So I decided to proceed with the surgery.

This morning I had it done. It couldn't have gone smoother. They put me out using IV anesthesia, as he said if I was asleep he could be more aggressive. I had zero
nausea nor shakes upon waking. The area was stinging, but nothing terrible. I have a layer of foam, then a garment on the area, so frustratingly I won't be able to take a look for at least another day :( I will continue with updates and photos later. Am also happy to answer questions if anyone is interested.

Please update when you get a chance - I have a hump too so I'm curious if Vaser lipo worked
Yes it worked! I didn't have as much fat there as I thought, but still have nice improvement. Soon I will post after photos.
