WORTH IT$8,500
I had been working out religiously and having decent results, but the tummy seemed to be going no where. After having 2 kids I just was not the same. Fortunately for me, I went to DR. Gervais' office with my mom her for one of her follow up appointments (she also had her tummy done). I asked about liposuction, but Dr. Gervais knew that I needed a tummy tuck with contouring . I was able to schedule my appt for just 1 month away! I only saw Dr. Gervais once and then one the day of my surgery is when I saw him again. He was very kind and allowed my boyfriend to be in the preop areas with me while he did the marking on my body. I was nervoud but all the staff were extremel;y pleasant. After I came out of surgery I was alreadt dressed and wrapped in my abdominal binder. I had 2 drains coming from my pubic areas and also a catheter that I was to wear at home for the first day or two. My surgery and contouring (lipo) took about 4-5 hours. I went home afterward.
Once I got home the pain set in and I was totally out of it for like 3 days. NOw I understand why they send you with a catheter. IT is HARD to get up and almost impossible unless someone helps you. 2nd day pain was worse than the 1st. On the 5th day I had a post op appt and the removed one of my drains. Very wierd feeling! The pain was still very bad for about a whole week, the second week after I got my second drain removed I started to feel much better...........to be continued..........
