Tummy Tuck & Lipo- Beyond the Best! - Minneapolis, MN

I'm a 37 yr-old mom of a 17 and 15 yr-old... both kids were C-sections and I gained a substantial amount of weight with both pregnancies and had the scars/ skin to prove it. I've always hated the way my clothes fit with the lower gut that just refused to part with me. I wore out TONS of running shoes trying to run off the well-known "muffin top". I finally decided to have a tummy tuck with lipo on my back fat (which totally creeped up behind me!!) I'll be 4 weeks post-op this Thursday and I couldn't be happier. Was it painful? YES. Is it bearable? with a great doctor- YOU BET! Is it worth it? ABSOLUTELY! Even within this short amount of time, I look in the mirror and can't believe that's me! I wonder how long before I stop pulling on my shirts to stretch them out where my gut used to be-- hard habit to break! P.S... I've never said this before but I can't wait for swimsuit season!

You may look at my ratings and think, how is that possible? It is. My initial reason for choosing Dr. Tholen was because out of the 3 doctors that I consulted with, he had the highest credentials and was the MOST down-to-earth. That was important to me. I felt the ease to ask questions and received responses that made sense. Behind every great doctor is a great staff. Does is say that anywhere? If not, it should. The staff at Minneapolis Plastic Surgery was top notch... from the intake, to the anesthetist, to the operating room staff to all of the staff that assisted with aftercare whether it was scheduling or follow-up, I can't say enough. My husband called a couple of times after hours with questions and we were always reassured and never felt as though we were a bother. I know beyond a doubt that I received the BEST care possible and couldn't be happier with my results as well as my decision of the doctor that helped me get there.
